Greetings, dear friends and deep music lovers.
By gratefully stepping into my 36th year of existing on Earth, I'm keeping the tradition of presenting a special selection of my beloved "healing" dreamy house music. A gorgeous night in Soho to celebrate Bradley. Bradley and Rachel have been such big supporters of my musical journey over the past year, and it was a pleasure to join them in New York to celebrate his birthday. Reflecting on it, this one just flowed really nicely. An exercise in energetic management, weaving in and out of some deeper dance floor moments and intertwining nostalgia and a darker evolution as the night progressed. I appreciated the feedback on this evolution as it was happening and thereafter. Worth noting, It was fascinating to prepare for as I wasn't sure where I'd be starting energetically after the previous artist, and ultimately I think this made the set more interesting. Chloe definitely influenced me in this regard. Also quite happy to play music from a few artists I've been enjoying that just haven't found the moment to come out yet, particularly Josh Caffe. This is hands down my favorite set all around thus far. Thanks for listening! 

I ended up playing from 12:45-4am. I've included 2 tracks b2b with Jason Douglas at the close as well. Thanks to you both for the opportunity to share music with so many people I love. Happy Birthday Bradley!

Welcome back to The June Goddess. While we patiently wait for one of our favourite events of the year The Dunes of Babylon we seek comfort and ease in music. When we started this podcast series we wanted to highlight the women in this scene. It always feels like the music carries the graciousness of a woman and when she commits to a musical career you can elevate almost naturally.

Before you the story of Jade. We have never met this beauty in real life, but we were lucky enough that she approached us with music. And even though we realise that many of you wait until we press play on your beautiful creation it was something that made us jump to it.

And rightly so...

We’re excited to share this smooth discovery with you: Alex Hövelmann’s Tequila Sunset is silk for your ears as we need it to get through this Monday morning.

Alex Hövelmann, a producer, DJ an live act out of Cologne (Germany), started to the play the drums at the young age of four years. Today, his tracks get to be played by the likes of Acid Pauli at the famous festival in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert. 

Inspired by the music of Christian Löffler, Kollektiv Turmstrasse or Olaf Arnalds, Alex Hövelmann’s music let’s you dream and dance at the same time: spheric, melancholic and dynamic sounds that are sometimes driving, sometimes soothing. 

Alex got our first attention thanks to his wonderful Interpretation of Christian Löffler’s “Haul” a few months back. His most recent productions have been released on Heidentoc Rec, Eisenwaren and trndmsk. 

Besides producing music, Alex organizes events such as the Garten Eden Festival in his hometown Cologne.
