As I must have said before, Fusion is probably THE festival that shaped my sound and it was a dream come thru for me to play there! 🚀 It started raining a bit before my set and I loved how all the ravers went on not giving a f. about getting wet! ☔️ After around 1.45 -2 hours in, it started to become morning, but not a sunny bright morning, a dark German one and it actually worked perfect with the music I wanted to play at Fusion in my dreams all those years. 🌥️ Honestly it's not one of my best mixing, I was maybe a bit too excited, but I am in love with every single track I played and I really enjoyed every second of this experience, sharing my music in the festival that I have always heard incredible sets from my biggest inspirations. 💕 I connect deeply to every value this festival stands for, i enjoyed it endlessly and will always cherish this memory. Big thanks to everyone who shared this unforgettable moment with me and for those who were not there, I hope you enjoy the recording.

Elif - Fusion 2023 - Friday Morning Sunrise - Sonnendeck

I had the best time at Tomorrowland first weekend on Saturday afternoon, playing my favorite music and some upcoming stuff from my label @marginalialabel 🪼🪼🪼

With incredible hospitality, very nice details everywhere and crazy production of course, Tomorrowland definitely lives up to the reputation.

It was a very emotional and special moment to see the Turkish flags 🥹🇹🇷 and I honestly didn’t expect to have such an amazing crowd at 4pm in the afternoon ❤️ What a beautiful surprise 🙌🏻 And listening to the set after and being able to hear all the support and joy from the crowd just brought me back to this unforgettable moment, gave me goosebumps and I'm very happy to share it with you!

Elif - Tomorrowland 2023 - Zamna Presents Core Stage WE1 Saturday

In 2016 I went to -now my dear friend, back then only my favorite DJ- Mira's birthday at Kater Blau for the first time. I was super into music, making mixtapes at home, going to so many parties and writing about them but not a DJ yet.

The vibe of the club, the music in all floors, and the fact that Mira is big supporter of female acts and seeing all these badass women playing mind-blowing music at this party had its mark on me.

Watching these legends Mira, Britta, Mimi Love, Mila Stern, Caleesi, I wanted to do it myself and I found the motivation, courage and inspiration because they were also women like me! Representation is so important!

In the following years I kept going to this party for my yearly dose of inspiration and of course fun!

Over the years, inspired by Mira and being colleagues now, we became friends and her impact on my life wasn't just musical. She's such a wise and wholesome person with integrity and the heart in all in the right places, that having her as a friend and inspiration definitely made me a better person and my journey of the new international touring DJ way smoother.

in 2021 I was even supposed to play for Mira's 44th birthday for the first time but the pandemic... (I mean I don't even need to finish this sentence). I ended up playing her 44.5 in Summer, the Ersatz Katzen party :)

Anyway, fast forward to 7 years and the birthday queen not only invited me to play her 46 Katzen party but also gave me the biggest honor of taking over the stage after her.

Playing Thursday in NYC, Friday in Montreal, flying back to Europe on Saturday, Sunday noon I arrived to Berlin like a zombie. Sleep before and after the set is hard but during... Actually not that bad. I was on a dream state throughout my set.

It felt really like a dream playing in a room not too long ago gave me the inspiration to be here today celebrating a women who always lifts others up as she rises. 

I also played music from my label Marginalia, I heard Mira and Mila Stern playing Marginalia too and I also two new artists from Marginalia family, Bakayan and D’aria were In the room when I played their unreleased music! What a moment 
I stayed sleep dancing until late because of all the incredible music

what an honor to play at this unique birthday celebration, I am grateful to life

Hello my dear,

Today marks the day that Mercury left its retrograde goes direct.. Can you feel the instant change in energy. The veil has lifted, we have passed its course again and it's time to celebrate with a stunning set.

This set is recorded at our Full Moon show called Wild as the Moon. Every lunar cycle we come together to howl at the moon to spend the nights that leave us restless together.

The March Madness - Wild as the Moon Elif

Here's one of my favourite recordings from Burning Man 2019. Recorded on Sunday night at my lovely camp, Miki Beach. After 7 days in the desert with all the amazing experiences and intense emotions i went through, i tried to capture it and wrap it in one piece! Includes an unreleased track and a remix by moi. Every night some time after falling asleep we enter into this dream world that we create in our brain, a product of what we perceive every day, what we have in our conscious and subconscious mind, what our imagination and creativity come up with when it's not controlled or judged by our everyday life reasoning and logic. Not always we remember let alone be aware that we are in a dream, but we do dream every single night.

Everyday I try to ask myself if I'm dreaming during the day, to have the habit of asking this same question often enough to eventually ask myself if I'm dreaming when i'm indeed in a dream. With this awakening begins a journey with no physical laws of the world we know. And with the help of this habit I am so excited and happy that I get to explore the landscape of my subconscious, my creativity and I even believe that I find some spiritual healing.

Recording this set I was in a waking dream. An emotional. intense, deep, soft, dark and powerful one.

While listening and in your daily life don't forget to do some reality checks every once in a while. Maybe one of these days you actually will be in a dream. Enjoy the ride.
