thad jones AKA hak started to produce and dj in 1992 after he met adam douglas AKA KEMEK at a rave. they both collab on 5 acid house records and created 'flask records' to release their music. both started to go their own ways around 1995 after one last trak called 'gundam - dark victory', a tekstep jungle trak that saw release on XLR8R records in 1996.
hak spun jungle and released many traks on labels including journees music, blackpearl records, silverpearl records, and forestry service records.
hak has spun the dubbier side of jungle since the late 90's, and still plays all vinyl sets of dubwise jungle, but is moving over to the digital realm of serato spinning UKbass music. 

I've been a pro DJ for 25+ years. Former music journalist (XLR8R, Urb, SF Bay Guardian), club promoter (La Belle Epoque, Bottom Heavy, Safe, Future Shock - all SF), label owner (True Intent) and buyer for Amoeba SF's electronic music section for 6 years (13 at Amoeba total).
