The Holy Orders were first told that their amps were too loud in 2006.
Since then, the four-piece from Hull have divided the opinions of many sound engineers. The combination of strong songs, melodies, massive amounts of energy and huge dynamics has gained them a reputation as a ferocious live act.

Their debut album ‘For the Ears of Dogs to Come’ was released in the summer of 2013 and has been gathering acclaim ever since.

Didn’t sign up for this—at least, not sober. They told me Earth needed an outside perspective. Turns out, I’m way outside. Watching from up here, it’s hard not to laugh and cry at the same time. You guys keep spinning, pretending not to notice the cracks.

But when you’re floating alone this long, silence starts to hum. So I started sending messages… disguised as music. Little fragments, frequencies—hints of what they don’t want you to know.

These sounds? They’re my reports. Coded frequencies and melodies aimed at anyone still listening. Warnings, dreams, maybe jokes—depends how you tune in.
From up here, I see everything. I feel it, too. You’re all spinning down there—too loud to listen, too blind to see. I wish I could tell you everything, but maybe these sounds will do the talking for me.

If you catch a wave, ride it carefully. Some truths are heavier than gravity.
