Roots powerhouse duo The Small Glories are Cara Luft & JD Edwards, a musical tour-de- force partnership planted on the Canadian Prairies. Thrown together purely by accident for an anniversary show at Winnipeg’s venerable West End Cultural Centre, The Small Glories could almost make you believe in fate.

Nominated at the 2015 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and celebrated by The Telegraph as “one of Britain’s top folk musicians” Ange Hardy has grabbed the attention of the traditional folk music world by writing new material and embracing modern technologies whilst maintaining a traditional feel.

Alongside a staggering list of other accolades Ange was awarded FATEA Magazine’s “Female Vocalist of the Year” in 2013, “Album of the Year” in 2014 and “The Tradition Award” in 2015.

As a solo artist Ange performs with a 27-string Salvi Harp, three different guitars, a variety of low whistles, a bodhrán drum, a tambourine, and an Indian shruti box. Combined with her innovative and subtle use of live looping to build layers up vocal harmonies she’s one of the most diverse solo-artists you're likely to encounter.

In 2016 Ange is touring as a duo with Lukas Drinkwater who brings double bass, backing vocals, another guitar and a bold new dynamic to the stage.

Melodic Rocker, Greg Freeman hails from Phoenix, Arizona. Greg is brand new independent artist to the music scene, Greg has a raspy, blues-infused voice with nice round tones, but can also belt out a powerful hard rock growl with amazing range.

"I want to showcase my passion and energy, provide a powerful sound, while still being able to tell a story. I have always appreciated the vocalists who are able to belt it out and hit those high rock notes, but also be able to bring it down in quieter moments and still have amazing tone"

Greg’s first full length album will represent a unique theme similar to bands that influenced him to pick up the guitar. The tracks will bring a sound similar to Shinedown, Seether, Daughtry, Three Days Grace, etc.

A self-taught musician born in Cleveland, Ohio, Greg Freeman resides in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife Glennda, Son Aiden and Daughter Madison.
