There’s so much beauty and sensitivity in this others some lovely singing. I have to say the opening voice doesn’t wuite sound right to m but as the song develops it becomes very assured. At there two voices. A shame about that because it turns into a lovely piece altogether. Hope you don’t mind my conment

For most of 2018 into 2019 Sobalsky was living in a car, tent, or hourly rate hotel in both Florida and Louisiana. The booze and dope that once gave relief had at this point turned their backs on him. He was nearing the "bottom."

Sobalsky hit a level of desperation very few people ever experience. Desperation only the real alcoholic and dope addict know. it's pure misery, spattered with moments of freedom when the dope first hits the veins, and that first sip of whiskey warms what is left of the soul...

Sobalsky writes about this desperation with brutal honesty. Inspired by the likes of Tom Petty, he wrote his debut album, iota, in active addiction, and recorded the album sober many years later. In 2021 he added a telecaster and a keyboard, branching out from previous all acoustic recordings. All songs are about living... the hardest thing to do sometimes...
