Well, well, well… I guess we should write something here… This band was formed in a garage filled with stoners and was never well thought out. We didn’t expect it work at first, because well it didn’t. Originally the line-up was Eric Berall (Bass, Drums and Vocals), Robert Parkinson (Bass, Drums and Backing Vocals) and Brian Steels (Vocals and Rhythm Guitar), which left little room for creativity ...as neither Rob nor Eric could drum properly. Eventually, Chris Walker was recruited as our full time drummer. This addition allowed for everyone to pick up the instrument of their choice, Rob picked up his bass and Eric, being the only person in the band with musical training on his instrument, became the lead guitarist. This line-up didn't last to long as both personal and professional issues eventually lead to Chris' departure and after a short stint as their session drummer, Sean Singh joined to fill the void. The original idea for the band was pop-punk, but since that sucks a load of shit, we began to lean towards pure punk. But ska is too fun not to play. The Johnny Red Eyes aspires to play some fucking good music. We won’t rest till we do so, even if that means killing every infant in the world with bloody bloody ice picks. And though that doesn’t sound like a good idea, it sure does seem like a fun one. Murdering babies. That’s right, our band bio talks about murdering innocent children and drinking their blood. What’s that? We never mentioned drinking their pure, rich, nutritious, tasty blood? It will replenish us!
