The pain and the pleasure mingle, producing a unique rhythm. 

The subjects on this slab 'o wax run the gamut, from the sweet scent of innocent vinyl backseat lust, to the rotting remnants left behind from a lover's rage.

There are dozens of references to persons, places and experiences throughout this shoe-gazy track. Though the lyrics might seem like nonsense, the psychological landscapes are all real to me in some way, shape or form.  Typical layered vocals with an additional echo-rich guitar track to add depth to the instrumentation.

There are fewer effects on the vocals than the typical track, but otherwise there are still layered verses and refrains throughout. Perhaps a little more in the way of guitar work and a slightly elevated drum track level give "Valley" a more frantic feel.

For years I have been plagued by a recurring collection of dreams involving the undead. This song is the manifestation of countless lost nights.

Here is an older track that I finally completed after adding in two additional verses (click Show More to see the lyrics). It chronicles the ill-fated drug run of Ernie Whittenburg who was forced to flee in his cocaine-laden plane when double-crossing companions attempted to take possession of the cargo. The problem was, the plane had landed to refuel and had to take off before any fuel was pumped. He and the crew that remained following the gunfight that preceded the emergency takeoff had to land in Oaxaca where Ernie was promptly thrown in prison.
