A silver lining to this difficult year has been the emphasized value of what matters most to us. Music has been a source of strength throughout, and I share this deep appreciation with the final guest of 2020. Michael Brunner is a seasoned DJ out of Philadelphia with roots in Chicago. The Curious Dream resident also curates his own Category 4 show on greatcircles.net each month—both of these events explore music's diverse landscape in a way that speaks to him and his collaborators on a very personal level. Bright Patterns is about following your internal compass, which is partially inspired by the musical bond he and I have cultivated over the years. As a dear friend, it doesn't surprise me in the least that our sets compliment each other so seamlessly.

Emmanuel Vincent Presents is a small press for cassettes dedicated to heavy meditation. These releases are intended to delve into the  spheres of sound poetry, spoken word, collage, new age, and a line in ambient work that toes the noisy border between contemplation and anxiety.
