Mainz and Moscow converge under the musical auspices of TH;EN and Mango and their "Morgenstunde". The orange glow of a rising sun radiates its warmth through rich analogue soundscapes. Powerful textures scatter across the left-right spectrum in eerie majesty and a rolling rhythmic landscape burns through the morning mist in swirling patterns. From the US West Coast, a bassline force pulses across the "Morgenstunde" as Anakim's bewitching percussive patterns glitter and glide in intricate glockenspiel arrangement while a new analogue intensity crystalises with white-noise menace. Familiar phrases shimmer in the background revealed from behind the early morning shadows.

A welcome returnee, Belarus' finest creates a new tale of "Morgenstunde". Elegantly revealing itself through trademark rhythmic patterns, melodic tropes echo across Michael A's newly discovered landscape. Textured pads meander in effortless modulation to a hypnotic zenith that gleams in delayed arpeggios with exquisite clarity. The latest release from Nikko.Z's Dopamine White finds the label showcasing new interpretations of D-Rhapsody's 'Rip Current' EP. Released in 2017 on parent label Dopamine Music, it was the Italian duo's debut on the Greek imprint. Spread across four tracks the EP showcased D-Rhapsody's unique blend of deep grooves, progressive rhythms and charming atmospheres. Fast forward four years and the Italian duo are now primary contributors to the Dopamine Music labels, with a second EP in 2018 and two star-studded remix editions. Now as the summer season approaches Dopamine White revisits D-Rhapsody's 'Rip Current' EP with new interpretations from Gabo Martin and Jesuan M, Andre Moret and Ric Niels.

Leading the release off and providing the lone interpretation of 'Rip Current' is Gabo Martin and Jesuan M. The Argentinean duo made their Dopamine White debut to begin the year with the release of their 'Mirage' EP in January, the lead track of which now sits atop their Beatport best sellers. Continuing to build their creative synergy, the duo now returns to the label for their first remix, taking 'Rip Current' into pure progressive territory. Fluid rhythms, mountainous bass tones and driving percussion set the course for this peak time journey. Mounds of perfectly contoured bass roll forward with momentous swing, as striking electronics, aquatic effects and emerging atmospheres smoothly shift energy into an emotive break. Cinematic and poignant, the centrepiece furthers the enchanting narrative with harmonic refrains and hopeful overlays, before muscular breakbeats reset the groove for a charged finale.

Returning to the label and providing the lone interpretation of 'Mad Spirals' is Andre Moret. The Brazilian artist and Hernan Cattaneo favourite made his debut on the Greek imprint in November of 2019 with his 'Instant Mind' EP, before returning the following year with a well received remix of Rafa'EL's 'Neon Dreams'. A strong start to 2021 has seen the Campinas resident record remixes for Balkan Connection, Clubsonica, Nature Rec and more. Now continuing to delight progressive music fans Andre returns to Dopamine White with a stellar take on 'Mad Spirals'.  Smooth yet groovy, the creation flows through a storyboard of undulating bass, charming tones and sweeping effects, before shifting energy into a grandiose break. Concise and heartfelt, the centrepiece is nostalgic in nature, projecting waves of emotion as poignant pianos and spine-tingling atmospheres set up a feel-good final movement.

Rounding out the release with the lone interpretation of 'Cycles' is Ric Niels who returns to the label following his 'Savon' EP from March of this year. Only a year into his journey as a producer, the Argentinean artist has already compiled an impressive resume, highlighted by releases for Clubsonica, Mango Alley, Movement Recordings and Soundteller Records. Now furthering his bond with Dopamine White, Ric returns to the label with an exhilarating interpretation of 'Cycles'. Smooth and powerful, it's a mesmerizing journey into the depths of peak time progressive house. Tougher than the original, its muscular framework is offset with crunchy rhythms, astral artefacts and effervescent effects. It's dark narrative slowly draws you in as the first act evolves, perfectly setting up a sinister, effects laden break which should not only light up your dance floor, but perfectly sets up a commanding drop and energetic finale. A massive interpretation from Ric Niels, which caps off an excellent remix edition for D-Rhapsody's 'Rip Current'.

Rip Current (Gabo Martin & Jesuan M Remix) [Dopamine White]

An artist consistently at the cutting edge of the underground dance scene, Juan Deminicis returns to Proton Music with another outstanding twin-track offering courtesy of his "Water / Rebellion" EP.

From the bustling metropolis that is Buenos Aries, Juan Deminicis has become one of dance music's most celebrated and respected names. Inspired by the likes of Sasha, Digweed, Warren and fellow countryman, Hernan Cattaneo, Deminicis has since risen to dine alongside such legends at electronic music's top table. Regularly hitting the heights with a sparkling array of original and remix production material, the Argentinean has seen his work signed to such leading imprints as Guy J's Lost & Found, Pablo Bolivar's Seven Villas and Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music.

A regular on Proton Music since 2012's "Downshifting" debut with Pablo Acenso, a trio of original EPs for Proton Music in the shape of 2013's "Behind the Sun", 2018's "Life on the Moon" and 2020's "Synchronicity", have all contributed to Juan Deminicis' ever-growing reputation within an ever-changing industry.

Now returning to the label with his fourth original offering, "Water", featuring the vocal talents of Mila Belini, is a velvety smooth affair that envelops the listener with hypnotic melodic percussion and sumptuous pads. Wrapped within a crisp rhythmic shell, Mila's ethereal vocal phrases meander delicately across the 7-minute piece while a beautiful piano sequence is revealed at the mid-point breakdown and into the third movement. The resultant combination of rhythm, melody and vocals is the perfect illustration of Deminicis' skill, craft and technique.

"Rebellion" continues the smooth elegance of its partner track as ticking percussive hats and powerful beat merge with subterranean bassline groove. Having established the perfect club-friendly foundations, textured pads gently pulsate in time while a glorious array of counterpoint melodic phrases tumble over each other to create a rich sonic tapestry. The golden threads woven into the aural fabric create a vibrant and shimmering picture that is certain to find favour among the world's finest DJs.

Another pair of scintillating tracks find Juan Deminicis once again firmly in the spotlight with his "Water / Rebellion" EP.
