On Friday October 15th I was fortunate enough to be invited by The Detroit I Love / Spot Lite Detroit to curate and perform an ambient experience on their alley. In addition to newly composed mixes and original video projections, I DJed for just over four hours in one of Spot Lite's unique concrete patio caves (the first ever performance in this part of the venue!).  For the set, I mixed a number of new ambient favorites into classic chill out and IDM, all while mixing in a constant stream of field recordings and found sounds. This mix represents the first hour of that set - headphones recommended. Special thanks to Steven Reaume, Tyler Yglesias, Mike (the Agent X) Clark, DJ Holographic, Audio Rescue Team, and Spot Lite Detroit.
