Punk, Grunge and Industrial Metal were the staples while growing up. From a metal vocalist in a band to eventually stumbling upon electronic music while travelling to Malaysia - it was an epiphany. The first wave of the progressive/tribal era, hard style and the shuffling culture were like nothing experienced before and would make an adept of electronic sounds. An irrational hatred towards synthesizers prior to the revelation meant not knowing where to start. Moved to London, went to music school and on graduating, bagged a publishing contract with Universal Music. Mauritius born producer, Muzikal Azylum also worked around as sound engineer for clubs, bands and radio station and undertook projects both under his aliases and real name.

The Reactionaries are are an alt. pop duo from East London and we are looking forward to making some NOISE.

Bringing together folk, pop, electro and punk influences and a DIY attitude The Reactionaries want to DANCE, they want to GROOVE and most of all they want to BURROW DEEP INSIDE YOUR HEADS and live there.

With manic energy, catchy hooks and offbeat subject matter The Reactionaries offer up strange and beautiful slices that will make your feet tap and your head snap.

The pair met when bouncing around with the other fruit inside a cloth bag. The bag was full of Apples For Everyone.
