It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces in the crowd that showed up to support, and so many new faces that we hope will become Attic staples into the future :)

Andrew Fazzolari & Brendan Clay Live at Attic Presents Cody Currie (7th Dec, 2018)

Here is our recent set, recorded live at our Attic event at The Flinders a few weeks back, on warm-up duties for Nachtbraker.

Our intention was to get the bodies moving and booties shaking with more rolling, percussive selections from our collective boxes—these actually worked a treat, setting the scene nicely for the expected Nachtbraker destruction! ;)

Live at Attic presents Nachtbraker (2nd February, 2019)

Finally able to get this mix up online after a busy few weeks on the music front! 

A big thanks to the crew at Anchor for inviting us (Brendan & I) down for their opening party, and what a day it was ! We had the pleasure of warming up for the incredibly talented DJ/ producer Bellaire - cruising around Sydney Harbour on a beautiful day no less !

Also a big shout to Sam Jake, who played live sax alongside us throughout the entire set. His skills in adapting to each track truly took the vibe to another level.

Just a side note: As we were out in the open cruising the Harbour, there is a fair bit of wind noise that came through the microphone of the sax, which was near impossible to avoid at times. This has come through on the recording, but hey, it's a live set !

Little slow to get this one out but here it is! My opening set from our last Attic party over at Harpoon Harry, where we got to host Attic personified - and a new mate for life - Ethyene  🙌

I was pretty keen to play the first set of the night, as I've collected so many slow jams recently that I really wanted to get in.

The result was a mix of deep, disco, housey slow burners that I feel worked really well while the venue was building, people where strolling through and hanging out, and the night was settling in for a big one!

Andrew Fazzolari - Live at Attic Pres. Ethyène at Harpoon Harry (11th May, 2019)

A lot can change in a month...

While I recorded and delivered this particular set at Café del Mar in Sydney almost exactly a month ago; it feels considerably longer than that.  Since this short space of time, there is a collective feeling—to me a least—that we've lost a lot our innocence... on both, a local and global level.

At the time, I can recall considering the current COVID-19/coronavirus situation as nothing more than an afterthought, a conversational filler, a punchline.  There were no suggestions of any lockdown, no cancelled events, no indefinite business closures.  There was a palpable buzz in the air and people were out on the town enjoying a balmy, late-Summer evening.

A lot can change in a month...

While I, and many of my esteemed colleagues, have taken to the Facebook Live airwaves to deliver a positive message of music during the last week or so; I also hope that this particular offering may serve a similar purpose: an accompanying side-dish to your respective isolated, remote working or otherwise uncertain endeavours, perhaps.

This isn't a typical set that you might hear me play in a club nor even as part of our Attic project.  For that reason, I originally intended to keep this as a private offering only.  All things considered, it feels right to share it out.

It's an uplifting, disco-centric offering—full of big vocals and positive melodies. I had an enjoyable time throwing it together, and I hope it translates as such.

I hope you enjoy it during these uncertain times and hope you're otherwise staying positive and healthy.

Live at Cafe del Mar (22nd February, 2020)

In the spirit of defecting from the much-maligned third-person bio approach: in short, I am a Sydney-based DJ who specialises in the sounds of deeper house and disco.  I take delight in playing a solid warm-up set and revel in the success of watching a room build around it.

Since making my club debut as a fresh-faced eighteen-year-old at 'Thursday Delights' at the Icebox—a popular trance and hard dance event of the time—I have been lucky enough to play right across Sydney, enjoying bookings at Sounds on Sunday, S*A*S*H, Chinese Laundry, Plastic, Café del Mar, The Burdekin and Candy's Apartment; as well as larger-scale events such as Big Day Out and Harbour Party NYE.

In the process, I've also been fortunate enough to support some of the leading names in dance music—both locally and from around the world—including LCD Soundsystem, Booka Shade, Subb-an, Chymera, Sonja Moonear, Luke Chable, Jasper James, YokoO, Kenny Glasgow, Darren Emerson, Mark Dynamix and Kid Kenobi, to name just a few.

I like to put on the promoter hat, too, hosting and playing at events of my own: 'Attic' being my main project.

Since its inception, the Attic brand has enjoyed success in its standalone parties—for which we've toured renowned house and disco artists, Fouk, Nachtbraker, Folamour and Laurence Guy, to name a few—as well as appearing all around Sydney for invitational takeovers, radio appearances, and exclusive showcase sets.

Away from the club dancefloor, you might also find me playing an extended-length set in a low-lit bar, exercising the deeper, more eclectic selections of my record box—lower, slower and groovy, just the way I like it!

For ten years, I was heavily involved with the Internet radio game, hosting successful programs, 'Friday Night Live' and 'The M Shift'; on Indiesoundz and NSB Radio networks, respectively.  The M Shift, which ran for six years, specialised in breaks, house and drum 'n' bass, and was regularly enjoyed by thousands of live listeners, downloaders, and Podcast-listeners alike.

As above, I pride myself on playing a good warm-up set—added again for emphasis!—and believe it to be somewhat of a lost art form in this current age.

I also don't mind getting in the studio occasionally, but that facet, for now, is still very much a work in progress!
