This track is actually a mashup of two of my oldest tracks I made [in 2012 mind you, when I was 22-23 years old] and it's a part of my Kakaphoney album (the album I've been releasing track by track over the years). It started as a basic idea of a 8-bit simple tune that keeps getting more intense and complicated, and mutated into this monstrosity. And yes, I just knew I wanted to call it 800BEE as in "boss fight music for fighting 800 bees", and of course - it looks like it spells "boobie". Heh.
Oh, and the track it's mashed up with, well, don't have much to say about it except I distinctly remember wanting to make any song that features a sad but hopeful Theremin. Also from that period (2012-2015). The thing is, 800BEE as a track on it's own was quirky enough on it's own, but I always wanted to push it even more, to make it even more complicated and intense. While this other unnamed featuring a synth that sounds like a woman singing, a stupid whiny sounding Theremin, and also a frantic, i guess, mandolin?? sounding instrument - was just unremarkable and quaint on it's own. I was never probably even gonna share it because "it did not make the cut on the account of a lack of grit and zazz". B U T - together ? Whoo boy ! This is why you need to experiment as often as possible. Just keep throwing them shits at a wall until the wall crumbles down ! I was literally playing around by mixing my random tracks together in Traktor DJ, and when I glued up these two - they lined up perfectly, same lenght, same BPM, perfect timing, everything. Many such cases with Kakaphoney, I guess I was subconsciously prefering to make song a certain way so that's why they all play together so nicely. 
So in the end what is my point here ? Well, instead of 800BEE sounding lackluster (and featuring a severe lack of Theremin and that sick mandolin solo that starts at 1:17), and this other song just being discarded - by creating a mashup and mixing them together in harmony, they brought up the best in each other and selflessly formed a new entity! Ooh, Frittata!
