We don’t chase names or algorithms. 
The Vela Pulsar exists for those who understand that this music isn’t nostalgia or fashion, it’s circuitry, emotion, resistance, and evolution. Each release is a coded message from the fringes, shaped by artists who prioritise sound over status, vision over visibility.
Our mission is clear: to amplify the uncompromising, to expand the sonic frontier, and to remind the world that Electro comes first.

Based in the UK and a resident at Natural Selection, EKATA carves out sonic worlds that are defined by a dark, sci-fi undercurrent and a cinematic vision of Electro, Techno, Acid & EBM.

With releases on AVOIDANT (Soma Records) and memorable sets at legendary venues like TRESOR, FOLD, UNFOLD, E1, Shambala Festival, About:Blank, Kilométre25, Fanzine Festival and Loone, she continues to cement a distinct presence in the underground electronic scene. 

Her work has resonated with visionary names in the electro world, earning praise and support from influential figures like Anthony Rother, Umwelt, The Advent, Andrea Parker, and Plant43 to name a few.

EKATA forges a sound steeped in dystopian atmospheres and mechanical intensity, where metallic textures and industrial rhythms collide with raw emotional depth - crafting immersive sonic landscapes that are as evocative as they are propulsive. 

Whilst being heavily influenced by Detroit, she's a dedicated selector with sharp instincts and a fearless, uncompromising artistic vision. EKATA delivers sets that are powerful, transportive, and deeply resonant.
