Delicate piano atmospheres with subtle electronic support. Bruno presents here a series of very beautiful compositions that feature an 'Steinway D grand piano' recorded during the night hours. Smooth electronic washes and drones are laid down in gentle layers forming light, hazy expanses within which the master instrument luxuriates. The piano playing is mostly of an understated, unhurried melodic form calling to mind the purity and tranquil grace of Satie.

Music moves us. It heals, tempers, hurts and exalts us. Yet we always think of it as an after-the-fact product - the soundtrack to a story of things said, spoken and done; a closed sentence. Sometimes this theory is proved wrong. 

With “Voidness”, Origami Sound hopes to offer a story that unfolds with you and allows you to patch into something deeper. Something that truly moves us in a most literal manner. 
We hear the echoes and confuse them for the source - an infinite void where we find total freedom and where we find room to dream the waking dream. 
There are many words to hint at the majesty of such a thing. We only have one four-letter term that best suits what this body of work radiates.

That term is Love. Voidness is love, agape.

Borealis - You Were Away

Since the creation of this theme it's been over a year.. 
This is my experience of how much music is able to change the state of mind. You wrote about its ability to calm hearts, rejecting grief, diminish suffering and sorrow. Indeed, he dismissed also my fears. And on the thorny road of sadness started to appear sparkling lights of hope..

Snapshots of generative music, one could say. Hence the title 'Generative Stills'. In between are two regular recordings (IN1 and IN2).
