The Next Debate is a new bi-monthly interview series from The Munk Debates, featuring past and future debaters on issues and ideas driving public debate.

The interviews will be published in the Saturday Globe and Mail. Full length podcasts of each interview will also be made available.

We are travelers who bring the spirit of Chuvash pentatonics to the new lands. We are diplomats whose music bridges East and West. We are rebels who support a unique endangered langauge and culture. So, we welcome you “Salam! Hello! Ciao! Tere! Привет!” 

The band members - Aleksandr Aidarov, PhD (voice, guitar), Einar Muoni (bass) and Andrea Patron (drums) reside in Tallinn, Estonia. They performe original songs in Chuvash, which have been written in a close cooperation with modern national Chuvash poets like P. Eizin, I. Trer and V. Stanyal.
