I make this just for fun, and I don't allow any download anymore, I think I don't make very bad things, it's like a hobby. I've deleted most of the songs here. I don't need it the premium account anymore, if I can't make uploads anymore.

Questa cosa io la faccio per divertimento e senza scopo di lucro, ho bloccato tutti i download ma sembra che non basti, non penso di commettere un delitto facendo questo. Ho cancellato gran parte delle canzoni. Non mi serve piu' tenere il premium account se non posso fare upload, non vedo perche' continuare a pagare.

I mostly spin at private parties & also at a couple of venues in Hong Kong including: 
* ISOLA - An italian owned restaurant & bar with a lovely outdoor terrace with views of the amazing Hong Kong harbour & a fantastic outdoor garden

* Lily & Bloom - a swanky lounge done out in a New York speakeasy style
* GECKO Bar - an intimate French-owned jazz bar down a secret back alley. 
* SOUTH BAY BEACH CLUB, Hong Kong (Sunday afternoon chill-out session during the summer months)
* KU DE TA, COCOON & Potato Head Beach Club in Bali (from time to time)
* Lots and lots of private parties

I'm happiest spinning outdoors, whether that be at a festival, on the beach, a yacht, on a rooftop, outdoor terrace or by a pool.

DJ BIO:
I started my DJ career back in the early-80s as a mobile DJ with MOLE DISCO & The TOUCHDOWN Roadshow (BOTH are STILL running today!). We used to spin at weddings, bah mitzvahs & 16th birthday parties, trying to get away with playing, the then underground jazz-funk, boogie & rare-groove music we loved, to a mainstream crowd. You can’t keep a good man down though, and I rapidly progressed to better things.

In London I ran the notorious ‘TOP OF THE POPS’ parties in Mayfair with my good friend Jason Van-Haeften and was a regular DJ at 'LES TEAROOMS DES ARTISTES', a popular post MINISTRY OF SOUND after-party that ran for many years in Clapham, south London.

I left the UK for my second backpacking trip (which I'm STILL on) in 1995 and ended up in Hong Kong, where I've now lived for the past 18 years and counting. During this time I have been a regular at many of Hong Kong’s top venues including, SOLAS, KEE Club, ARMANI/BAR, South Bay Beach Club, AQUA Spirit, YUMLA, F.I.N.D.S., CLUB 97 & TIVO as well as playing regularly around the Asia region.

I've been behind or involved with some of the most successful regular club nights in Hong Kong over the years including my long-running ‘SOULUTION’ quality House music night which ran for eight successful years, ‘The South Bay Sessions’ at South Bay Beach Club (which ran for 5 years), my mobile ‘EKLEKTA SELEKTA’ lounge night (which was featured as a show on www.ibizasonica.com for a while), ‘Hong Kong Eclectic’ at ELEMENTS bar and ‘Deano Martino’, a weekly lounge night at the now legendary 1/5 bar (in its day, voted one of the top 5 ‘best bars in the world’ by Conde Nast Traveler magazine).

I've DJ'd at private parties for RONNIE WOOD of the ROLLING STONES, BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB artists RUEBEN GONZALEZ & IBRAHIM FERRER & R&B artist CRAIG DAVID and have played alongside many international DJ’s including Norman Jay, Lisa Loud, BARGROOVES head honcho Ben Sowton, PACHA Ibiza resident Graham Sahara and FIERCE ANGELS Mark Doyle.

In Hong Kong I released my first (and only so far) commercial CD via Club 97 called ‘SOUNDS OF CLUB 97’ which spent the whole summer of its release in the HMV dance chart.

Frost Dj Sexx are Ricc & LApo, two musician-dj-producers-based in Italy. They balance their time between their band ‘Frost’, producing and DJing all over with their Electro Rocky Beats. As remixers, they received the Qoob Contest prize for "Lightspeed Champion remix" and their song won a spot on Hit Mania's 2009 compilation which sold 150,000 copies distibuted in Italy.
Frost was the best italian band of Arezzo Wave Love Festival and the only Italian band taking part in a reality show program called "Mtv A Cut" filmed in London with Anastacia, Wade Robson and Olivier Behzadi.
They played for: Erlend Oye, Bugo, My Awesome Mixtape, Ex-Otago, Amari, Claudio Coccoluto, Ralf, Tiger Tiger!...Groove Armada (Main Stage of Arezzo Wave Love Festival), Little Louie Vega (Master at Work) &amp; his Elements of Life, Shit Disco, Soul II Soul, Bugo, Amari, Yuppie Flu, Thank You For The Drum Machine, The Toy Orchestra, Karate, Z-star, Dirty Feel, The Hormonauts, Pram, Pulseprogramming, Nouvelle Vague, Kings of Convenience...

SONY PARLA DEI FROST DJ SEXX
I Frost Dj Sexx sono secondo me una bella e divertente “mutazione” dell’italo disco anni ’80 in edizione contemporanea. Cioè semplicemente attingono a piene mani dalla disco italiana anni ’80 che s’incrociava con la new wave elettronica: suoni minimali analogici, pattern ritmici ferratissimi, autoironia del post punk nostrano e tanta sfacciataggine, quella di chi gioca un po’ con i generi, li cita, li mischia e li risputa “sui piatti” che girano”, per far ballare e ridere a 32 denti…
Occhio che questo sound che sembra così “italo” in realtà è stato esportato enormemente dall’Italia a partire dagli anni ’80 e lo si ritrova in moltissime formazioni oggi considerate “illuminate”, come MGMT o Ting Tings…e questo vuol dire forse che certamente nessuno è profeta in patria, ma anche che “qui da noi” in realtà i segnali ci sono eccome, basta saperli riconoscere.
Poi, i Frost DJ Sexx sono un esempio e tanti altri ce ne saranno, e non è nemmeno così facile che il mercato italiano “si apra” all’improvviso…ci vogliono pezzi molto forti (i Ting Tings sono il caso più eclatante…) e diversi altri elementi, ma non disperiamo. Nei FDS c’è un ottimo beat, suoni ben scelti, sicuramente meno lucidità nel mettere a fuoco un pezzo che giri a mille nella testa della gente e non solo nei piedi (perlomeno in questo brano). Non parlo di canzoni classiche ma quel mix di beat, slogan, riff e melodia che alla fine ti fa dire “beh,figata!”. Ma ci siamo vicini, penso.

I was born in London, England in 1982, and I suppose I've always had a passion for music. I enjoyed playing traditional instruments at school, but my interest in music composition really got started when I found out about computer music sequencing, and when I got access to a suitable machine back in the mid-1990s.


The technology has changed almost beyond recognition over the years, but my love of music has remained constant.


To understand music theory, and to learn more about the technical and professional aspects of music production, I attended University in Ealing, home of the famous Ealing Film Studios, and got a graduate qualification(BAhons) in Music Technology and Music & Sound


I've been lucky enough to compose music for movies, and video games since then. I like to work in a variety of styles. With each new piece, I try to remain stylistically and culturally authentic to the genre, but I always try to add whatever the secret formula of musical herbs and spices is that makes up the trademark Charlie Armour sound.


I love to make music with other people, using the global reach of the internet to maintain collaborative relationships and friendships with independent music and video artists from all corners of the globe. I have been credited as producer and composer on a number of projects and gained priceless opportunities to expand my own artistic horizons in doing so.


Last year and this year I received international recognition in the form of 5 music awards for best soundtrack demo, best demo song of the year, best soundtrack producer(last year and this year) and best classical song(Which was nice.)


I suppose the fact that I have made it so far is something of a miracle, given my battle with Leukodystrophy, a neurological disorder which (in my case) affects the use of my legs and hands - not an ideal situation for a musician, but I don't get distracted by little things like that. I believe that persistence is the main component of success, both in music, and in life - and I hope that my example will encourage other people to ignore their own distractions, and remain persistent in their own attempts to achieve their goals.

Like everyone here, I've been deejaying and producing since teenage days. Music is a question of taste, but you can expect some quality things here productionwise - normalized in frequency spectrum and loudness, ready for DJ use.

My tracks are uploaded as hi-fi variable bitrate MP3s. VBR is roughly equivalent to 256 bps. 320 is pointless, as a 44.1kHz/16bit file will mathematically never use more than 256. Funny how everyone on soundcloud seems to think 320 is good. In any case, MP3 will always mean a certain amount of loss, so the only way to avoid that is to use WAV/AIFF/FLAC or RAR. In professional productions you should never employ MP3, no matter how high the bitrate.

Phil Agosta is Detroit's New Generation of Sound.
Biography
Detroit is so well known for its unique brand of electronic music and the creation of Techno, that the term ‘Techno’ is rarely mentioned without being preceded by the name of the City itself. That said there’s one man, named Phil Agosta, who is intent on pursuing a “new sound of Detroit”.
Instrumental beats made a very early impression on Phil’s life. He became a percussionist, at the age of 5 and studied music from the age of 7, straight through to college, with the emphasis being placed on Jazz & Fusion. 

So determined to make a name for himself and to develop his own take on the Detroit sound, Phil began honing his skills on turntables at some of the Motor City's hottest nightclubs of that time. Most notably; Taboo, Cheeks, Motor Lounge, Bleu & Club Hollywood amongst the many popular Nightclubs that would come and go, in Detroit. Yet, like so much of Detroit’s DJ talent, he would eventually migrate to Chicago's thriving and storied late-80s and 90s house music scene, moving the crowd at legendary hotspots such as Excalibur, China Club and Industry.
Like many artists, the pull of responsibility and pressure to fit into society beckoned and Phil found himself in the professional world. So, with his entertainment industry experience, he went into ‘Events Marketing’, working with an array of clients from the NFL players to brands such as CART, Unlimited Hydroplanes and notable others. At the same time, he would play only for special events. However, in 2002, Phil decided that he needed to follow his passion and he immersed himself into music once again.

He has worked with a plethora of Detroit Legends such as; Juan Atkins, Jeff Mills, Kenneth Thomas, Stacey Pullen, Stacey ‘Hotwax’ Hale, Mike Huckaby, Mike Clark, Rick Wade, DJ Godfather and ‘Techno pioneer’, 
Kevin Saunderson, (he is currently an artist on Saunderson's KMS label).
Phil’s unique sound, is subtle yet densely layered with bass and percussion, that is reminiscent of 80’s ‘old-skool’ and Detroit ‘electronica’. It’s a little bit street and a little bit Kraftwerk, with a sexy kind of groove, which curiously sounds more “right now” in this era than the “back in the day” of its inspiration.
His "Tribute to Detroit" EP was released on Chicago’s KGBeats label, in June 2010. However, not just content with being a DJ and Producer, Phil is also making a name for himself in the world of remixing, having remixed “Cream” (which is currently on I-Tunes, Amazon.com and YouTube) by Carmit Bashar (formerly of the Pussycat Dolls fame). 

His latest musical outing is “Lonely”, which sees him team up with Detroit songstress Lisa Cunningham (PKA La Rae Starr). “Lonely” is on Defected Records which topped the charts at #10 in July 2013. This native Detroiter has a bright future ahead.
