This Ibicencan-American has operated for some years now from his winter residencies in New York at Cielo and Output, and in the summer months as resident DJ at Pacha Ibiza, sharing the decks on both sides of the ocean with the heavyweights of today's musical arena.

It was only back then when Xenia Beliayeva finally kickstarted her career as a club DJ at the opening night of Karlsruhes Centre For Art and Media Technology (ZKM). Opening a night that featured the french Techno pioneer Laurent Garnier and electronic music legends Kraftwerk live on stage after only a few years being around DJ'ing at art events and similar occasions.

Many things have happened since these early days, when she was freelancing for labels like Playhouse, Klang Elektronik or Mute Records and working for the highly acclaimed Ladomat for many of years where she took care of various business issues including the A&R department. Not to forget managing her own label Lone Records in conjunction with Formic Distribution and the Ladomat 2000-offspring Danced Records which is another part of Xenia Beliayeva's journey.

All these things have taken her from the art / exhibition circuits to clubs, raves and festivals allover the world. Continously evolving to the fully established, highly appreciated and award-winning DJ / vocalist Xenia Beliayeva is now, solo and in several collaborational projects that she's taken part in throughout the years.

With 12“ releases under her belt put on the circuit via imprints like Datapunk, Different, Systematic Recordings and others plus a full-length album debut („Ever Since“) on Shitkatapult there's no wondering why Xenia Beliayeva has been caught collecting miles and miles, traveling to places like Spain, France, Italy or paving her way to faraway countries like Ukraine, Australia, Russia or Brazil where she built a firm, enthusiastic fan base and, in the Brazilian district of Mato Grosso, won the Factoide Award for the Best Live Performance two times in a row.

And live means live as Xenia Beliayeva has more to offer than just playing records. Her performance range has evolved from the regular DJ-set to DJ-/live amalgamations in which the Moscow-born artist is voicing special edits of her own productions and now reached the stage of full on live concerts, fronting the stage with a unique vocalist style and pure presence whilst her long-time partner André Winter is taking care of technical aspects.

This ability as such has once again increased the number of fans and followers attending XenBel shows allover the place and tuning in to her Radio Xenbel show which is broadcasted on several stations and in various cities she's playing, giving her an extra slot of air time plus a new and quite innovative way to interact directly with her ever-growing fanbase. And reactions show, that they do feel the meaning of each song even though they might not get the words as hit-singles like „Momentan“ or the more recent „Dumpfe Träume“ are performed and broadcasted worldwide in their orginal form - with lyrics sung in German.

This surely is another important point that singles out Xenia Beliayeva's position as „artiste extraordinaire“. She is a multi-lingual butterfly serving special flavours amongst mostly instrumental or at least monolingual competitors. Plus: her devotees are not only hailing from electronic club land but feeling at home in the darker, kind of Goth-flavored areas as well as in Synth- and Non-Mainstream Pop. Areas Xenia Beliayeva is not afraid of to explore as not only her videos but also different remix works, e.g. for the Techno vs. EBM-flavored Nitzer/McCarthy project, do prove.

Zoë Xenia's music is an exchange of energy that dissolves boundaries and therefore becomes a universal language. It's a tool to express herself and connect straight to the hearts of other people.

Her sound is marked by a distinct fusion of electronic beats, funky rhythms, melodic chords and rolling baselines. All married in harmony with her soulful voice, both as a lead vocal and as an instrument itself.

Zoë Xenia's productions, collaborations and remixes have been released on labels such as Armada Music, KMS, Suara, Pacha, Kling Klong, Connaisseur, BassCulture to name a few and her first album came out on Plastic City. She collaborated with Cari Lekebusch, releasing 6 EP's together which were played out by artists such as Richie Hawtin and Adam Beyer.

Zoë has lent her unique voice to various projects as well. For example, she featured on the 'Blackbird' EP from Mathias Kaden on Rekids, Pacha Recordings invited her to record vocals for Richard Grey, she wrote and sang 'Matters of the Heart' for Tigerskin, 'Ýou Take Me There' (Behind The Sun) and was asked by Kosmo Records for a vocal remake of BBE's huge dance hit '7 days and one week'.

Zoë Xenia is a versatile artist and with her productions, soulful voice, and powerful live and dj sets she weaves together a hypnotic, ecstatic experience for the listener and dancing crowd.

Il a joué entre autres aux côtés de James Hartcourt, Khainz, et D-Nox et collabore au label Quadbyte records avec Banditos.
Yankat est également un membre actif du collectif audio-vidéo montréalais Cruz Control, au sein duquel il organise des soirées où DJs et VJs se complètent harmonieusement.
Basses lourdes, beats acides et rythmes accrocheurs, qu’il s’agisse de ses sélections ou de ses productions, le son de Yankat s’écoute fort et de préférence sur le dancefloor.

Yoruba Records has been a force in the dance music scene since its first release in 1999. Operated by acclaimed artist, producer Osunlade. Yoruba was founded on the ideals of the beliefs of Ifa and has given us some of the most consistent and diverse music ranging from deep house to soulful jazz. The focus is always great song writing and uncompromising production. Although dance has been its core in the past, the label has stretched out and experimented with jazz, soul and alternative electronic releases. Still considered the go to label for simply good music, Yoruba has survived and transformed as the times change. Will Saul has been at the cutting edge of electronic music for nearly 20 years now. He has released well over 150 records across his two labels - Aus Music & Simple Records - from the influential likes of Joy Orbison, Carl Craig, Pearson Sound, Leon Vynehall and Actress, as well as EPs that helped to break the careers of talents like Bicep, Dusky, Midland and George FitzGerald. This visceral A&R ability has seen him become head of A&R at !K7, responsible for all artist signings and in charge of curating the hallowed DJ Kicks series. Unearthing new and exciting artists and music is Will's lifeblood and something he has been doing every day for as long as he can remember. Will started working in music aged 19 - work experience during university led to a full time role as A&R with Sony Music. He left Sony to set up his first label Simple whilst becoming part of the team that founded the legendary Phonica Records in London.
As an artist in his own right his music and remixes have been critically acclaimed and seen him featured on the cover of DJ magazine and helm the Essential mix for Radio 1. Will has been trusted to remix a diverse range of incredible artists from Little Dragon to Kelis via Pearson Sound and Fink and has released many singles and EPs (on labels such as Kompakt and !K7 as well his own) as well as two full length artist albums - the last of which was his CLOSE project - which saw him tour a live audio visual show (with a drummer) which debuted in room 2 of Fabric.

Will is an experienced DJ and has held residencies at some of the best clubs in the world (The End in London, Studio 80 in Amsterdam and a label residency at Fabric to name a few) and plays/played (some are now closed) regularly at the likes of Panoramabar, Robert Jonson, Trouw, Yellow and Labyrinth Festival. Will has contributed entries to two of the most respected commercially released mix series out there in DJ Kicks and Balance - both of which made it into Resident Advisors best 20 compilations of the year.
