S.A.M. - A Glance And You Got Me (Full Version)

Theo Komp's "IF" is a tribute to one of the greatest Greek voices of the 60's. It is a groovy track with summer vibes that makes you follow the rhythm. The original track "An S'arnitho agapi mou" sang by Tzeni Vanou was released in 1965 and till now is a very popular track.
The lyrics in English are: If I deny you my love, may a great evil befall me. May the sky forsake me, may I see the sun black.
Theo Komp used samples from this track and created a fresh tech-house interpretation of it with tribal elements and many percussions. 
It will be out for free on the 19th April 2014 with the support of Minimal Force.

The true techno dream team of Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann revisit their Elements project from a few years ago with a new series of killer remixes. Terra - originally released in 2011, did all sorts of damage to dance-floors across the globe. Now, it’s all set to do it again thanks to this Joseph Capriati Remix. The Italian techno headliner has grown into a major force on the scene in recent years, and here delivers a signature slice of muscular, driving techno - taut, dramatic and devastating. Paired with a remix of the now seminal Feugo Julien Jeweil’s remix also hits the spot - the track received a 2016 overhaul with some of Jeweil’s signature flair. The Frenchman has been a constant figure on the top of various charts and line ups for some time, and its easy to see why - Fuego is stripped back machine funk primed for big systems and even bigger moments.

Senso Sounds drop a major release from techno heavyweight Dubfire and label boss Oliver Huntemann. Reuniting the partnership that has seen a string of seminal releases over the years in the form of their 'Elements' series, 'Humano' is the 2nd part of a continuation of this series - more weapons of grade dance-floor material from the high profile duo. Later on this year their partnership will be summarized in their 'Restrospec- tivo' album.
Former Deep Dish man Dubfire’s uncanny knowledge of how to create epic dance- floor moments is in full effect, combined with Huntemann’s precision tool production techniques on the original version of the title track. The result is a super tough, tight and incalculably driving slice of techno goodness that will ignite floors worldwide. The rest of the EP manages to maintain the pressure - with a set of sick remixes from Victor Ruiz, Hatzler and Shaded.
Ruiz, the Brazilian techno pioneer adds another level of fire to the original, tweaking and refining the track into a damager that pushes everything to 11 and hits home with every play. Hatzler, the Hamburg based German DJ/producer chooses a different direction - emphasizing more of the space in the original. Rinsing the tension to the next level, look out for the epic middle section break down. The whole package is primed to destroy clubs far and wide - techno at its most effective. Shaded’s Summer Skin remix also delivers a tightly wound interpretation, with a bubbling bass line and nervous, excited groove providing the fuel for an extended dancefloor excursion.

Matt Edwards and multifaceted artist Patrick Mason team up as SRVD with debut release entitled ‘ELEVATE’ dropping on Rekids this August. 

Whether as Radio Slave or his various other monikers, Matt Edwards is one of electronic music’s most consistent and innovative artists. Ever since his early reinterpretations of Kylie Minogue and New Order, Edwards has continually commanded respect as a producer and in-demand remixer, whilst as a label owner his Rekids imprint is undoubtedly one of house and techno’s most influential platforms. 

Meanwhile, Patrick Mason continues to conquer the fashion world; a devout club kid and gifted creative turning heads as an outstanding art director, illustrator and model, whose extensive artistic talents include a unique and compelling voice destined for dancefloors. 

SRVD’s story begins when the pair met in Panorama Bar, which soon led to Edwards and Mason hanging out at the studio and later evolved into improvised performances in Berlin’s club scene and beyond. ‘ELEVATE’ perfectly captures the raw spirit and vibe of their live show, with whispering vocals ushering in precision kicks and piercing stabs until Mason’s mesmerising voice comes fully into play. 

An homage to the New York vogue scene and a huge hit at Panorama Bar - where the pair have set the house on fire with three unannounced shows so far this year - ‘NASTY’ is a syncopated, bass-driven monster of a cut complete with infectious claps and metallic effects.

Dutch duo Deep Dimension debut on Rekids with a stomping vocal cut entitled ‘So 1992’ featuring a collaborative remix from label founder Radio Slave and rising star P.Leone.

Jeffrey Hek & Jimmy van de Geijn have been actively DJing for over two decades. The pair paired up as Deep Dimension in 2015, combining their talents to form a signature techno sound comprised of deep basslines and powerful kicks. Launched earlier this year, their vinyl label named GEN X has instantly picked up overwhelming support from the likes of Radio Slave, Tommy Four Seven, Benny Rodriguez, Kobosil, and many more. They now continue their upward trajectory by arriving on Matt Edwards’ respected Berlin based imprint, Rekids.

Thudding kicks are joined by rising synths as pitched up vocals come into play in ‘So 1992’– the result is a rave inspired techno monster designed to throw crowds into frenzy. On the flip, Radio Slave pairs up with Rekids regular P.Leone for a cavernous reimagining complete with rolling percussion, off-beat hats and eerie atmospherics.

Hi friends, if you have listened to any of my sets you probably already know that many times I use references to older classic tracks, especially on my closing sets. Most of the times I simple use the originals but other times I have to edit them before, so I end up with a tool / Edit that is more handy for me to use. This is one of those tracks! - Don't Go from Yazoo. I played it many times in different locations, crowds and situations and it has never let me down… I have already shared it with some close dj friends and I thought that it will be a good idea to share it with all of you. Daybreak opens the Ep with a dark groove , tinted by some melancholic ambiants and a breathtaking synth line. Nighttide follows on a more pushing bpm for the peak time of the night. Primitiveness is a 5am tool that will fire up the most demanding dancefloor. 313 City closes the Ep on a more groovy note showcasing the detroit influences of Hexer's music.
