On Saturday, August 14th, THIS was a big one for me….. I was beyond honored to find out, just one week before this event, which I already had purchased tickets for, that I would be the opening DJ for world-renown German Trance legend, Nic Chagall of COSMIC GATE, on the “Sunset Sessions on the HIYU” DJ Cruise, Saturday, August 14th, 2021. I am pretty much speechless about this one, almost impossible to describe this amazing day, but also it was a really cool "full circle" for me because Cosmic Gate was my very first opener show in Seattle on May 11th, 2013, at club a called Foundation, just a few years after I moved up here, so it was such an honor to be able to share the decks with Cosmic Gate again after all these years. This show sold out in 3 minutes, so unfortunately there were a lot of people who wanted to go that couldn’t, but for those whom were able to attend, it was such a perfect NW summer day out on the beautiful Lake Washington and Elliott Bay, with such a special group of amazing friends and Trance Family that attended, the euphoric vibes were through the roof....truly a magical experience that I will never forget.. Originally, I was told I would be playing from 4:30-5:30pm, then it was off to the Cosmos, but my set got lengthened by over 20 minutes, so by the time I handed the decks off to Nic the cruise was well underway, and it was such a thrill seeing all the people dancing and having a great time to my set. I’m still kind of walking on clouds from that day, it really seemed like it was just a dream, just a bunch beautiful smiling faces, high fives, pats on the back, sweaty hugs, and a blur of amazing music and beautiful water scenery. Dialectics (n.) - the art of investigating or discussing the truth of opinions. The discourse between two people holding opposing viewpoints view but trying to establish a common truth through reasoned discussion.

Born out of the renowned, best-selling Yin and Yang label concept, USA and Spain create a musical discourse through Tripp Baronner and GuyRo. Presenting "Dialectics", a new monthly show airs on Proton Radio showcasing the finest underground music talent in two contrasting but inextricably linked hours.

Part 1 sees Yin thematically represented while Yang is juxtaposed through Part 2. Intimately interconnected while fluid by design, resident hosts alternate and interchange with guest artists to create a dynamic dialectical discourse, a thesis for high-calibre music to reign supreme across two symbiotic concepts and distilled into two interrelated hours full of technique, craft and passion.
