Self-taught piano player and overall music aficionado SHMN combines his classical research with his passion for electronic into his own blend of melodic and deep textures. His productions bring forth granular atmospherics and cinematic moods into a strand of textured house music, filled with grandiose vocals and emphatic breakdowns.
A fan of sound recycling and balancing analog and digital, he’s already lent his sound to releases on labels such as Beatfreak Recordings, Click Records, and Love Matters.

All in all, SHMN is an artist that’s on an ongoing exploration of the sub-genres of electronic music, all the while keeping his creative process exciting and fresh on this journey, as he invites listeners to come along for the ride.

This is my closing set for Off Club London "The Re-Awekening" at The Steel Yard. 

It was two years a go, for my birthday, that I had the pleasure to see, in this same venue playing live, an astonishing Stil vor Talent line up, made by some of my favourite producers of electronic music, Township Rebellion and Oliver Koletzki. 

After these two years, it was a real pleasure for me to step in, in the same venue, to play my own music journey while seeing everyone united again and dancing with passion and love in front of my own eyes.

"Some years ago I worked in Bremerhaven in the huge halls of the wind industry.
Bremerhaven is not a beauty, but she has character, and here start a lot of
similarities with myself. No wait, I AM a beauty. Anyhow, while roaming through
soundcloud I found pjontec’s site and thought ‘How cool, Bremerhaven, haven’t
been there in a while’ and got in touch with them. This set contains some
unpublished stuff from me, some very fresh tunes found on soundcloud and
some favourites from last year. It is Melodic Techno / Progressive House.

George Papadopoulos, aka Symmetric is a musician in the electronic and techno scene. He was raised in Heraklion,Crete when in 2008 he moved to Rome to study. That’s where he first started getting professionally involved as a DJ with electronic music. In the last years his basis is Thessaloniki, where he has performed in clubs like Tokyo, where he's created his own residency,Club Division, Block 33, and Club Decadence & Aigli Geni Hamam. He has joined many great names in the electronic music industry, such as Tale Of Us , Ben Klock , Sven Vath, Maceo Plex , Adriatique , Mind Against , Etapp Kyle , Fiddles , Aether, Antigone , Keith Carnal , Mathame , ARTBAT , Sam Paganini , Recondite, Dixon , Paul Kalkbrenner , etc. In September 2017 & 2019 he performed at Reworks Festival, one of the biggest electronic music festivals in Europe,alongside great artists. In most recent years his tracks are being played by big artists in electronic music industry, and in events as well, such as DGTL festival , Awakenings , Afterlife shows , Social Music City etc. That introduced him to multiple European countries,where he performed. After the firsts releases on Berlin label Steyoyoke & Dutch Label , Dynamic Reflection , other releases followed on Lanthan Audio , Infinite Depth & Affute.
