Third in the legendary series of infamous Blog compilations, AOR 3 revives a more stem-based sensibility. Mojo Filter’s ever deeper-reaching interpretations explore the more subtle rhythms and apply heady melodic accompaniment to otherwise untouchable originals.

Vol.3 is much more a re-examination of the original parts restored to their former glory with very subliminal additions. While some are more obvious than others, tracks like ‘Eye of the Tiger’ have traded 'rock' with 'disco' production values as the tune is decidedly more progressive and groove-led.

With support from across the dance spectrum, and reaching No.2 in the Worlds DMC Chart (!!!) this album gives an insight into the extensive knowledge of what elevates us to dance with some very heady techniques employed to keep the tracks from becoming too obvious.

Bowie’s FAME remake has all the marks of a classic edit with signature Mojo effects and tricks that keep the floor spinning and imagining as to what might come next. Nina Simone also sees a stellar deep house relove that swoons and draws out the remarkable percussion and wordsmanship of the original.

Roadblock nights such as the dedicated ‘Fleetmac Wood’ event has seen Mojo headline with his own revisions leading the fray. ‘Big Love’ has a very original interpretation to evolve this into a decidedly more Balearic incarnation. 

More authentic re-loves see ‘Baker Street’ dragged from the 70’s into the 80’s with a stadium genesis snare – giving the track monumental energy of anthemic proportions with a very subtle 4:4 groove.

Achieving consistent Radio 6 airplay has given rise to Mojo’s success and has seen some official remixes for the likes of Foals, Crystal Fighters and Rob Da Bank amongst others. All of whom have been supporting these edits for some time now.

Expect an original Mojo Filter album in the Fall.
