Wah Wah 45s are proud to present their debut Record Store Day special release!

In 2014 the label celebrates not only its 15th anniversary, but, with this record, its 50th seven-inch release, and it’s something very unique indeed.

Two of the imprints best love artists, East End brass juggernaut Hackney Colliery Band, and funky Canadian piano maestro Henri-Pierre Noel come together on seven inches of wax for the first time, remixed by label boss Scrimshire and superstar disco re-edit king The Reflex.

Scrimshire’s re-working of HCB’s version of Kanye West’s All Of The Lights is a horn fuelled left-of-centre club bomb, whilst The Reflex’s ‘revision’ of Henri’s classic Diskette is a disco fuelled take that’s sure to cause plenty of dance floor devastation too.

Having both on one slab of strictly limited heavyweight vinyl with gorgeous, bespoke artwork to celebrate the label’s 50th seven-incher is almost too much! Enjoy!

Mousse T. famous for house music of the extra class presented together with the voice of Boris Jennings in 2010, the classic from the Seventies (Johnny Pate - Brother On The Run)

In 2013, we get a another great remix package.

With "The Reflex" one of the heroes in this year already with the FUNK track of "Ferry Ultra feat. Ashley Slater" "Why Did You Do It" enchanted us impresses here with a super funky disco mix.

"Hot Toddy". Provides us with his remix, which possibility is to edit a vocals to get a completely different flow.
Peppermint Jam says thanks again for this great work.

"Mousse T". gives us a very nice edit that has often played to use in his legendary Dj Set and as guarantor is always a great party.

"Chris Minus" from Denmark presented a more tech house-oriented mix.
Driving beats, short chords and picked with the vocals of Boris Jennings.

"Triad go a timeless journey to the Deep House and impress with their sub bass and the little hide their cool percussions and vocals edited to a great dub.

Slamboree is a live band with a Smörgåsbord of circus performers, daredevils and entertainers. We take each show as it comes, assembling a different crew from our collective for each show and every gig is very different to the last. 

Musically we fuse bass-driven beats with live orchestra, guitars, percussion, loops, visuals, brass, accordian, pyrotechnics & circus. The genres bounce around breakbeat, dubstep, drum & bass, dub & electro swing fused with balkan, folk, and 'gypsy' flavours... all original & all live. 

Within this very first year together we've been fortunate enough to perform our live shows at some amazing places such as Glastonbury Festival, Electric Picnic, Boomtown, Shambala, Beatherder, Kendal Calling and the River Thames in London.
