This selection has been in the offing for a few months now after locating a stack of minidiscs in a dusty recess. The plan was to upload a live mix from plan B back in 2007 when we welcomed the forefather DJ Pierre to our (mine and Adrian Blunts) established B-Side night at Plan B in Brixton. A 20 years of acid house special no less, the slight glitch... the mix, had corrupted and forever it shall rest in memory. 

Have tried to recall most of the tracks from that night and embellished a little with just the best ones here :-) and a couple of tracks dug in recent times that sit kindly in the mix.

This is head down, deep late 80's house barring the last track which is from 92. Its all early house forms, warm baselines.

Born a Kiwi but raised in the UK, Suno was brought up on a sultry diet of John Peel, Hip-hop and his Mother’s Motown collection. Buying and spinning since the heady-housey days of 1987 he has a wide taste for all things suitably nod-worthy; from deep disco basslines, classic electro and assorted 4/4 acid driven antics. 

Apart from speaking about himself in the third person, Suno runs an independent non-profit radio station called Planet Sauce out of Auckland, NZ. Celebrating all things underground it has a growing global audience, supported by some amazing musical talent. Music matters.

Jona Jefferies is a DJ, producer & music lover.

A DJ since the 90's, Jona has soundtracked many settings. His eclectic style inspired by his love for the craft, the dance and the places he's lived in. From Ibiza's blissed out Balearic hedonism, to Rave Culture & the Urban vibe of Bass city, Bristol and the endless parties of cosmopolitan free spirited Techno city, Berlin. Jona's taken it all in. 

Nocturnal, a joint production of his with Stardelta's Lewis Hopkin as Sapience, on Tom Middleton's Sound Of The Cosmos record label gained support from a wide range of DJ's including Gilles Peterson, Laurent Garnier & Mala. More recently Jona's productions have gained support from equally diverse DJ's such as Phil Mison, Chris Coco, Phat Phil Cooper, Max Essa, Willie Graff, Pessimist, Vega (UVB-76), of Ruffhouse fame, Balearic Social, Mr Benn, Red Rack'em, Eddie C, Faze Action, Trujillo & Dicky Trisco. 

Jona's most recent projects are Many Hands, a Dance, Podcast and Label co run with Kava.  On a Balearic tip, he set up El Guiri Discos, a vehicle for his Edits of Spanish Music, the first release making Phonica's and Piccadilly's best of 2020. He was also resident DJ for Buena Onda when he lived in Berlin, alongside Balearic Gabba Soundsystem's Marco 'Peedoo' Gallerani and Gallo.

Like a disco ball, Zacab's facets illuminate the darkest corners of clubs, raves, and the faces of the night. 

It's impossible to predict the direction his DJ sets will take, as he has navigated for years from raves to clubs.

As a member of Le Salon Record Store, he wears many hats and collects records.

Creator of the radio show "Swiss Underground Bastringues" on Loose Antenna (Lausanne's web radio) and resident on Trnstn Radio, Zacab covers the history of electronic music and Swiss underground culture. He also curates musical and scenographic projects, including the project "Body Dance Synth Music".

His musical universe is rooted in the revolutionary synth sounds of the 80s, blending contemporary tracks and styles. Navigating through new wave, italo disco, synthpop, EBM, and electro, his DJ sets create a retro-futuristic experience that he describes as "body dance synth music.
