Olivia Lee is an Oakland based multi-instrumentalist & producer making music as the frontmember of There's Talk and guitarist of Lauren O'Connell.

She has contributed production/synth/guitar/vocals/piano/fx/sampling to studio and records ranging in genre: indie rock, shoegaze, pop, folk, lofi, drone, ambient, industrial, dream pop, doom, glitch.

After college she immersed herself in the Bay Area music scene, spending time recording & studying with engineers at Tiny Telephone, Hyde Street Studios, and Avalon Studios, collaborating on sample-based electronica, playing in Bay Area indie rock bands, and shooting press photography for bands. She makes commercial scores, electronic compositions, and ambient music with a penchant for fuzz and hazy explorations of dream state.

Kinetic Octopus is a free-form, electro folk project touching on the feelings of melancholy and nostalgia with a Lo-Fi backbeat composed of electronic and organic instrumentation.
