Yemanjo’s sound is a unique fusion of downtempo and organic house beats with traditional sounds from Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. The previous five years have seen Yemanjo touring the world while releasing prolifically with top labels in the genre such as Cosmic Awakenings and Cafe de Anatolia, and a full-length album for Wonderwheel Recordings dropped on May 10, 2024.

In performance, Yemanjo combines his original music with live singing in many languages, trumpet, percussion and other instruments in an electro-acoustic live set. Also providing hybrid DJ sets with live instrumentation, Yemanjo brings a refreshing sonic diversity and decades of experience as a dynamic live performer and frontman.

Sonnder is an experimental indie rock band based out of Philadelphia, PA. Fronted by lead singer and songwriter Ryan Weidman, Sonnder also consists of keyboardist Kat Stein, bassist Steve Iannettoni, and drummer Mike Liszka. Sonnder has recently celebrated the release of their debut full length album entitled “Entanglement” at one of Philadelphia's most celebrated venues, Johnny Brenda's. Leading up to the release the band concluded a year long singles project in which a brand new song was released during every month of 2015 through the band’s website and all online music distributors. The singles project has been culminated into the full length album accompanied by a couple new tracks. The singles project allowed Sonnder to expand their reach farther across the northeastern United States, and to gain attention, air play, and live interviews/performances from Philly’s Radio 104.5, WXPN, WMMR, etc. The singles project also has received numerous write ups from radio journalists, blogs, and more. All singles associated with the project have received critical acclaim. Four of the band’s singles including “Drifter,” “Backwards Ambition,” “Siren Calling,” and “Pink” received noteworthy air time and write ups from WXPN’s The Key. The band’s current lead single “Along The Way” has received numerous plays on Radio 104.5’s “New Music Discovery Show” and “Something New” feature. Sonnder recently shared the stage with well known bands The Dear Hunter and Northern Faces at Union Transfer; one of Philadelphia’s most prominent venues. Now with a more expansive catalog including 2014's debut EP "Thief," Sonnder plans to use the new full length album "Entanglement" to continue to stay positive and honest, pushing themselves artistically while broadening their horizons.

“The meaning of the name Teletextile is not first date information,” says Pamela Martinez, the group’s founder.  She holds its explanation
close as an opportunity to entice all the visionaries, escapists, fantasizers, romantics and haters.  "Teletextile’s definition is packed in suitcases with things words can’t describe."

As you can tell, Martinez's musical adventures started at a young age, picking up instrument after instrument, audible in the lush songs of Teletextile’s layered arrangements of harps, guitars, strings, electronics, choirs and the like.

Long commutes on Texas highways had the radio alternating between her mother and grandmother's love of Etta James, and her father's affection for George Harrison.  My sweet lord, my sweet lord, I just want to make love to you while my guitar gently weeps.

But Martinez is no lone ranger, she vanguards a gold rush of musical pioneers.  Currently along for the adventures are Alex Nelson on vocals, bass and keys, Annie Allauzen on guitar and Zach Fisher holds down the beat on drums and percussion.  Together they conquer kingdoms, build castles, hide away in them and destroy them when the game is over.

And in case you’re not interested in Teletextile.  Martinez recommends listening to Pj Harvey, Brian Eno, Björk or Radiohead. "It's basically the same thing.”
