It is tenderly made with the greatest respect for the original and we hope you will like it as much as we do. A great tune for fans of John Talabot and The XX ;). Weaving smoothly between Italian Dance, Psychedelic Disco and Proto House, Franz quickly turns the dance floor into a vignette-tainted retro nostalgia rave fueled only by his music. 
Born in Italy and now a resident of Berlin for a decade Franz has his roots in noise rock and electronica but was led by the record collectors passion into acquiring a taste for modern and not so modern dance floor music.
He frequently inspires dancers in clubs all over Europe with his eclectic blend of spacey House, New Wave, Italo and Acid speckled with hints of Electro and Chicago House. 
Aside from producing on his own imprint, he has releases on World Unknown, Bordello A Parigi, Bahnsteig 23, Tusk Wax, Mechatronica or Discodromo´s Cocktail d’Amore Music.
Franz is link to many events around the german capital such as the monthly Wrong Era, Italian Dance Wave and Italorama night in Panorama Bar, Magic Waves or New Dance Fantasy Festival.
Beside long time collaboration with Sameheads he is regular dj at Griessmuhle and Salon zur Wilden Renate. In 2013 he joined Dimitri SoEmotional in the “Studio Luce” project

PREMIERE – Luksek – Disco galattico (Prinze remix) (Boots & Legs)

Italian DJ and producer Luksek (Luca Guarducci) puts out a new EP featuring two original tracks, Flash Soda and Disco Galattico. This EP delivers a euphoric, high-energy Italo sound perfect for igniting dancefloors. Complemented by remixes from Paris-based artist Prinze and Italian electro-disco powerhouse Alberto Melloni, this release celebrates disco’s past, present, and future.

When I discovered Boots & Legs, I was immediately drawn to their artwork—it’s fresh, joyful, and reminiscent of Todd Terje’s latest album,” says Luksek. “After hearing their music, I knew my tracks would fit perfectly. Beyond The Struttosphere blast back into orbit with the release of ‘Planet Ogo’ on Discolypso. The title track is inspired by progressive trance and fuses a driving chug bassline with a hypnotic 303 sequence, distorted techno stabs and a trifecta of meandering arpeggiators, creating a wormhole through space and time. Thunderous power chords and nuanced percussion layering guide the track towards a cosmic void, echoing with mind-bending vocal samples from the cult sci-fi film ’12 Monkeys’, before a high-voltage crescendo transports you to the Planet Ogo. Remixes are provided by two masters of the scene: South Korean cosmic disco royalty, Shubostar, applies her trademark sound, introducing playful melodies, kinetic arps and retro-futuristic synths that elevate its seismic breakdown into outer space. Spanish new wave maestro, K-Effect, provides a more psychedelic contribution, weaving in tripped-out FX, clinical drum arrangements and low-end synths that propel the tune towards its ominous conclusion.

‘Cosmic Stuntman’, the second offering, is as intrepid as its name suggests. The first half is a minimalist soundscape defined by crunchy guitar riffs, energetic tambourines, cowbells and an array of spacey FX, before the second opens in throttle with a ferocious mid-range bass, cutting snares and cosmic pads that build in magnitude as the track reaches its spellbinding climax. Dionigi, alumnus of Italian cosmic sound movement, remixes the track into a low-slung chugger complete with glitchy vocoders that resemble scrambled UFO transmissions.

The EP concludes with bonus remixes of BTS back catalogue hits. ‘Replicants’, originally released on Mélopée Records in 2021, is resurrected by Berlin-based electronic rock n’ roll band, Tegel Boys, who transform the track into a krautrock-infused kosmiche space odyssey perfect for tuned-in psychic travellers. Mexican dark wave legend, Rigopolar, follows with a tranced-out remix bolstered by robotic arpeggiators and mechanical guitars that propel you to Mach-10. Completing the package are reinterpretations of ‘Storming Heaven’ which first appeared on Emerald & Doreen Recordings and pays homage to Jay Steven’s eponymous book on LSD and the American dream. Argentinian dark disco producer and member of Ralph Lawson’s 2020 Soundsystem, Julian Sanza, cranks up the funk and reconfigures the track into a Balearic sunset trip. UK godfather of chug Rich Lane isolates the original’s soaring guitar solo and reimagines the track into a mesmerising downtempo chugger tinged with psychedelia.

As if ‘Black Hole’ was some kind of dark space movie from the past –  Kid Machine’s Retro-Italo-Electro style delivers a film score-esque remix. ‘The Robot Scientists’ enter the Black hole only to find a near deserted, lonely secret world. Kid Machine used the melodies from the vocal chorus and replaced some parts with eerie, robotic vocoders to deliver a sense of ‘no escape’ and ‘no return’.

"Funky Skunky" is a track originally composed in 1996
but completely re-made a few monthes ago. . The original track, made
with MIDI system and virtual synths, was based on a vocal sample taken
from one of the first vynil collections of acappella voices but it sounded
weak and not convincing enough. Therefore it was abandoned and slept
on a forgotten CD-Rom for about 16 years. Robotnick, using analog
synths and triggers, brings it back to life with the energy it deserves. 122 bpm
"Infinite Solitude" is a track that was originally composed
in 2001 for "Oh no ..Robotnick" but then discarded because deemed
to sound too melancholic. In this case too, the recent analog re-writing
gives the track a vintage flavour and rightly puts it back into the
authour's original music process. 128 bpm
"It was like a dream" is more recent, dating back to 2008
but it sounds as if it came out of one of Robotnick's early 80s tapes,
when the author insisted in working out sounds and atmospheres
that would distinguish his style from the music produced in those
days. 124 bpm Finally there are 2 remixes of "Can you hear me?" , a
track released in Archives 2 , signed by young producers from the
"New Disco" scene : "Things happen" and "The Robot Scientists"
present the continuity of a sound that comes from far away but is still
capable of attracting and involving the new generations.
