The Robot Scientists are Markus Schneider and Stefan Maurer, two DJs and vinyl collectors from Saarland, Germany. They co-run Emerald & Doreen Records since 2011 with releases on the edges of nu-disco, dark disco and indie dance. Markus Schneider and Stefan Maurer, known as The Robot Scientists, are two music connoisseurs, DJs, and vinyl collectors hailing from Saarbrücken, Germany.

They are also two of the three founders of Emerald & Doreen Records, established in 2011, which specializes in releases on the fringes of italo and nu-disco.

As DJs, they emphasize italo and arpeggio basslines, believing that more is better. They creatively explore themes like robots, consciousness, psychedelics, superpowers, aliens, space travel, creativity, futurism, fun, and freedom. Their sound journeys into both utopian and occasionally dystopian realms, though they usually keep things light-hearted, reflecting their fun-loving nature.

Las but not least, they also run SOMETHING SPÆCIAL since 2013, one of the genre leading mix series on Soundcloud.

Logia Records presents TOVI- Groove Invoker EP. TOVI is an Argentine DJ and producer, co-founder of the production company Corr, along with other DJs from the local Buenos Aires scene. His sound on the dance floor is characterized by a constant and pronounced groove, progressive, with hypnotic and dark undertones, transmitting an energy that keeps the audience dancing.
This EP features two other great exponents of the Argentine scene: PAXU, who is increasingly gaining ground on the city's dance floors and a member of our friendly label Slow Cycle, and Cosmosolar, who has been making a name for himself internationally for some time now, part of the Modula team, another major Argentine label.

“Jack Pattern“ is the moniker behind three friends and artists Neu Verboten, ELi LiNE, L.D.R. and was conceived in Zürich, Switzerland. The essence of this project can be seen as three characters merged into one, schizophrenic-like entity. Each one of the members makes their own music, but when it comes to “Jack Pattern”, they summon their forces and synergism into one powerful trinity. 

It’s a rare chance to see this whole trinity behind the same decks. Nonetheless, we were lucky enough to bring one of them to our “Layers” event in Vilnius. Neu Verboten will visit us as a proud delegate of the Jack Pattern crew. And since it’s always a pleasure to get to know our guests beforehand, we decided to chat a bit about all kinds of stuff: his craze over gear-porn, life in Berlin, inspiring nowadays political situation in the world, Swiss psychedelic rock and future plans for “Jack Pattern”, of course.

So without further ado, here’s our little interview with ⅓ of Jack Pattern.
You’re involved in various projects. You are a part of “Jack Pattern” and also produce solo works. However, “Jack Pattern’s” members live in different countries, right? Does distance matter nowadays to your creation and inspiration?

“Jack Pattern” lives in different cities, that's right.  At the moment Zürich and Berlin, but soon there will be another city/place which will be inhabited and discovered by one of us. As I like to say, no borders, no nations. We all like to travel and make new experiences. I am glad we have this privilege. There are three of us: me as Neu Verboten,  ELi LiNE, L.D.R., and these are three different projects that come out of Jack Pattern. We have new stuff is coming up soon from “Jack Pattern” on its own label “Lustpoderosa”. I am creative director of our label and I am also involved in the “Rhizom” Festival in Zürich , a non profit Festival with the aim to reclaim club culture for more ethical based content...
