It's an odd beat, you see, and it creates perpetual variation its interplay with the other elements. Oh, I should mention, this is electronic music, except for the guitars, played by yours truly. A experiment in homemade samples. All synth sounds, some percussion, voices, chords, "harmonica" sounds, created from my voice, guitar, or bass (no software instuments used). There's also acoustic and electric guitars, and some real drums, including a drum solo inserted from a low-fi, one mic practice session.
