An artist renowned for his attention to detail and magnificently equipped studio, Petar Dundov has been at the vanguard of the techno genre in all its guises and within the wider canon of Melodic and Progressive House. Already featuring on such esteemed imprints as SCI+TEC, Cocoon Recordings and Sudbeat Music, December 2020's "Salvation / Nature of Nature" EP was a glorious Proton debut. Now following up with another pair of original tracks, "Spark" is redolent in all the trademark features that make Dundov such a respected figure. Through heavy beat, rolling percussive groove and hypnotic bass phrase, sparkling synth motifs gently work across the 9-minute piece in unencumbered fashion. A stripped back breakdown adds further texture and effects before the shimmering melodic sequences take centre stage in the second half. "Day Unseen" provides immediate energy via a syncopated synth motif that provides further intrigue through open filters, modulation and note placement. A clicking, tom-infused percussive groove supplies innovation as a new melody makes its way to the fore and additional strings create a smooth counterpoint to the elements introduced in the first half.

A powerful force withing the house and techno genre movements, BLANCAh, continues to hit the sweet spot with an immaculate blend of melodic components fused to dynamic and powerful dancefloor rhythms. A debut on the renowned Steyoyoke in 2014 signalled the Brazilian's intent as a panoply of original music found its way on to the likes of Lost on You, Sprout and Renaissance Records. The latter bore witness to her debut full-length album in May 2020 with the outstanding "Arias of Sky". Making her Proton Music debut, the BLANCAh remix is a wonderful interpretation that intelligently makes use of Dundov's components while introducing an array of her own production material. The result is a stunning interpretation which bristles with vibrancy as analogue synth lines infused with white-noise, reverb and delay, ripple across the stereo spectrum with ease backed by a chest-thumping kick and elegant percussion.

Regularly seeing his music featured on the likes of Meanwhile, 3rd Avenue and Clinique with a variety of original and remix production material, Imran Khan has shone brightly through 2018's "Arrival" EP on Particles, while August 2019's "Organik" and November's "Sunsweat" EPs continued his story on Proton Music. Remixes for GMJ, Dmitry Molosh and Michael A for the latter, have continued to showcase a burgeoning talent as the UK star now works his magic on "Spark". Characterised by a hefty rhythmic groove and seismic bassline, growling synth lines swim across the stereo spectrum as delayed percussive hits and ticking hats supply hypnotic energy. Evolving with elegance, pads and effects are introduced as pitched variations on the original's central motifs bend and echo into the distance in intriguing fashion. The result is an innovative and dramatic interpretation with its roots firmly in Petar Dundov's "Spark".

Petar Dundov - Spark (BLANCAh Remix)

A relative newcomer to the progressive and melodic house scene, Blanka Barbara makes her Particles debut with the twin-track "Amabie". Polish born but London based, Blanka has already carved out a growing reputation with a slew of releases on the likes of Duenia, Mango Alley and her own Rabbit Records. As comfortable behind the decks as she is making music, her monthly "BBHour" on Point Blank Radio and "BBBoiler Welcomes" on Data Transmission Radio, have afforded her the opportunity to create a new platform to showcase her growing skillset as DJ, interviewer and producer. Blanka Barbara's opening salvo on Particles finds "Amabie" a driving gem, fuelled by rolling bassline groove and heavy beat. Referencing a mythical Japanese mermaid, searing melodic flourishes sit across the mid-range as they cut through the mix with laser precision. Textured pads add to the atmosphere as a stripped back breakdown paves the way for a club-friendly second half where rhythm and melody combine to powerful effect. "The Black Lagoon" continues the rich melodic narrative as a filtered motif wends its way across the 8-minute piece. Anchored by deep, resonant beat and off-beat percussion, a seismic bassline adds weight aplenty in an evolving, multi-faceted soundscape track of pure emotion that rises from subterranean depths to a paradise from whence no one can return.

Juan Deminicis is no stranger to the Proton Music catalogue. A regular since 2012 with a quarter-century of remix and original production material, the Argentinean has sparkled with such celebrated releases as 2013's "Behind the Sun", 2019's "Life on the Moon", 2020's "Synchronicity" and July 2021's "Water /Rebellion". A clutch of remixes for GMJ, Michael A and Mark Slee have shone a spotlight on another side of Juan's production talent as he returns to remix Blanka Barbara. Taking on "The Black Lagoon", a trademark rolling groove and deep luscious soundscape filters to the fore as familiar melodies from the original flow across the stereo spectrum. A glorious syncopation of rhythm and melody follows before a new cadence opens up in the second half to mesmerising club-friendly glory as white-noise effects and sub bass complete the picture.

Another artist with a long Proton Music history is Michael A. Prolific and talented, the Belarusian's work has seen almost a half-century of credits grace the label, not least in a raft of original EPs that began with 2017's "Bright Hope" and have since included another 5 original releases. September 2020 saw the beginning of a new chapter as the "Fantasy" series took shape, now about to enter its third instalment. Remixes for James Warren, James Monro and Pole Folder have also lit up the Michael A portfolio as he now remixes "Amabie" with typical aplomb. A rich bassline and shaker-driven percussive line create an immediate groove while a new chord progression and familiar elements from the original create a stunning new vibe. The scorching lead line from the original adds to the sonic collage at the mid-point as the second half explodes in a striking combination of rhythmic force and melodic character.

Continuing a strong fall season, Clubsonica Records welcomes Matan Caspi back to the label for a new single. Highly regarded by his fans and contemporaries, the Tel Aviv resident is considered one of the most refreshing electronic music talents to come out of Israel. Having the distinction as one of the most Top 10 charted artists in Beatport's Progressive House section, Matan has showcased his music via a plethora of major labels, most notably Anjunabeats, Armada, Spinnin and Universal Music. March of 2018 marked Matan's Clubsonica debut with the well-received Crosswinds', before going on to contribute a track to the label's Miami Music Week' sampler a few short weeks later. Following projects for his Outta Limits imprint, Matan now returns to Clubsonica with a new single entitled Serengeti', alongside remixes from Dmitry Molosh and Juan Pablo Torrez and Dabeat.

Continuing what has been a fruitful year, Matan steps forward with Serengeti' which showcases his originality and sophistication as an artist. Anchored by a warm, muscular groove and smooth rhythmic pulses, the energy is striking from the outset. Cross cultural vocal phrasing steals the air as the first act evolves, elegantly moving through a forest of exotic drums and sweeping effects. Carrying into the main break, guitar slides add further musicality, marrying beautifully with fragmented vocals as waves of effects and drums unite for an exhilarating crescendo and suitably large finale.

Returning to the label and providing the first interpretation of Serengeti' is Dmitry Molosh. Widely regarded as a top tier talent in the progressive music scene, Dmitry's long-standing relationship with Clubsonica dates back to 2016 with a contribution to the label's ADE' sampler. The Belarusian artist would then go on to deliver two singles and a remix over the next four years. Now a veteran of the progressive house underground, Dmitry continues to showcase his music on the genre's premiere imprints, such as Cid Inc's Replug Records and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music. Continuing what has been a prolific year, Dmitry now returns to Clubsonica with a spellbinding rendition of Serengeti'. A perfect balance of warmth and drive provides the foundation for fluid rhythms, buoyant arps and flickering percussion to work their magic. Sleeker and more hypnotic than the original, its peak time sensibility resonates across the first act, as icy pads provide a bridge into the main break, relieving tension for moments of tonal warmth, as a steady build sparks goosebump worthy moments, onwards to a thumping finale.

The release concludes with Clubsonica label boss Juan Pablo Torrez and occasional studio partner Dabeat providing the second and final interpretation of Serengeti'. Operating from the heart of Colombia's electronic music scene, this talented duo has collaborated in the past with exceptional results. A combined discography reveals a host of highly regarded landing spots, with Nick Warren's The Soundgarden, Beatfreak, Perspectives Digital and Proton Music being the most notable. Beloved as their country's foremost progressive music talents, Juan and Dabeat now unite once again for a special collaborative remix of Serengeti'. Warm and shapely, an undulating groove sits at the root of the track, providing the perfect backbone for reprocessed vocals and organic drums to delicately dance above. The Mediterranean moods from the original delight across the first act, bringing newfound musicality as wispy effects raise tension leading into the main break. Looking to bring greater emotional depth, the centrepiece proves impactful with fragmented arps, buzzing bass swells and poignant chord changes banding together for a spirited crescendo and glowing final movement. An inspired remix from Juan Pablo Torrez and Dabeat once again, capping off a welcome return to Clubsonica Records for Matan Caspi.

Our third release is something rather special, we welcome our good talented Norwegian/Turkish friend "Wolfson" to the label; owner of the magnificent WOLD records, who has been actively releasing some awesome music from labels like ZEHN, Eleatics, Somatic, Kittball, and Dear Deer and constantly being seen on the Top 100 charts and been having global support all around. 

Opening the Ep with the “Original Mix”; a sweet breakbeat groove with a lush vocal with a catchy melodic and a driving riff. Then comes the "Erdi Irmak Remix”; a very talented Turkish producer who made a big name for himself with many stellar releases from labels such as Sudbeat, Tale, and Tone, When We Dip, and many more with Top 100 charts and global support, keeping the original flavor with his signature deep/organic sound and a solid groove. 
Finishing the EP with our founder "Gadi Mitrani Remix" A robust progressive groove with an infectious melody ride keeping the flow with organic afro beats.

Mark Höffen returns to Atlant following his 2020 'Faith EP' and 'Comet' on Voyager III, which we highly recommend you check out. For the remix Mark drops the tempo and focuses on floating dreamy melodies, extending the lush layers of 22 Police, adding warmth and poignancy. Understated and classy Mark's remix is perfect for an extended DJ set, getting the club united and locked into an emotional groove.

The musician, whom you have already had the opportunity to hear on our label, born and stationed in Athens, Greece, is back with a new release called "Extravaganza"!
Compared to his previous ones, he focused this song on identical melodic sessions by which he is recognizable, but in terms of groove, admixtures of organic sounds and afro rhythms it brings us a perfect symbiosis.

John Cosani, electronic music DJ and producer, was born in 1988 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From an early age, his interest in music became evident, getting even stronger with time. At the age of 12 he began his musical studies with piano lessons and later on, when he discovered house music, he fell in love with its eclectic and enveloping sound. At 16 years old, he began playing in small parties, setting a start point for his passion and his imminent career as a DJ.

A pair of remixes for GMJ & Matter’s “Lost on Origin” represented a Meanwhile debut in April 2020, while February 2021’s “Push Thru / Horizonz” was another notable highlight, showcasing Khan’s craftsmanship with an original EP debut. Now returning with a second offering, the three-track “Equinox” is another masterful addition to the Meanwhile catalogue.

Opening proceedings, the title track glitters in a velvety night sky where pinpricks of melodic light illuminate a cavernous bassline. White-noise pans in gentle waves across the stereo spectrum as thickly stratified pads join forces in synthesised union. A true force of nature erupts in symmetrical brilliance where “Equinox” delivers a timeless masterpiece.

Full of groove-inspired character, “Generator” builds a new powerline. Heavy bass sequences spawn a heady concoction of low-end energy that revolves in perpetual cycles. Rhythmic dynamism develops in hypnotic patterns as subtle synth motifs are charged by rib-cracking kick and syncopated vitality.

Rhythmic intricacy and poise form “In My Head” where popping percussion delivers a vibrant framework that fizzes with brio and intensity. Pulsating waves of sound vibrate in aural synchronicity around ethereal vocal touches, and gentle melodic juxtaposition revolves around a heady mixture of exquisite suspense that represents a new conduit for machine-generated sounds.

Through beautiful sonic symmetry where rhythm and melody are balanced with immaculate precision, a new “Equinox” emerges from the brilliant mind of Imran Khan.

French superstars Chambord (@wearechambord)  join The Gardens Of Babylon with an exciting EP ‘Distant Time’. Remix support comes from Joep Mencke (@joep-mencke) and German Brigante (@german-brigante).

Paris based duo, Chambord have patiently raised their game over the last 3 years with releases on high profile labels such as Sol Selectas and Kindisch, cementing their growth with club and festival sets alongside the likes of Jamie Jones, Blond:ish and Acid Pauli. This release showcases the warm, energetic sound that is sound tracking dancefloors across the globe.

Opening with two original tracks, first up ‘Distant Time’ is a deep, melodic cut with rubbery bass, shuffling percussion and an epic vocal performance the echoes around your head. Crescendoing arps and warm keys playfully melt as emotional piano chords take the lead in the main break. ‘Red Moon’ opens to a tribal bass and sparse percussion. Growing organically, the piano again adds oodles of emotion as the melancholy plays out in real time.

On remix duties TGOB label mate, Joep Mencke returns with a haunting reimagination of ‘Distant Time’ that draws on the raw emotion of the original turning it into a deep, warm early floors wonderland. For his remix of ‘Distant Time’ Sol Selectas and Dirtybird regular, German Brigante constructs a filthy, saw-toothed analogue remix that the mighty Vangelis would be proud of!

As Meanwhile Horizons continues to establish itself as a prime vehicle for electronic music and a considered alternative sound, co-founder, Matter, provides a career highlight with his debut full-length album, "Starchild".

In development for over two years, with a stellar cast of powerful and innovative tracks, Matty Doyle continues a journey that has seen him light up the electronic music industry's finest imprints with a distinctive sound via his Matter moniker. A veteran of such esteemed labels as Proton Music, Black Hole and, most recently, on Nick Warren's The Soundgarden with Dutch talent, Alex O'Rion, Matter has consistently served up a plethora of high quality original and remix material in both solo and collaborative guises.

Opening the 10-track magnum opus, the "Starchild" title track is an opulent blend of emotive chord changes and textured soundscapes. A 4/4 kick and hi-hat percussion at the mid-point provide a rhythmic anchor before the club-friendly "Chemical Therapy" warms with its ethereal vocal phrasing and upbeat melodic flow. Originally appearing on Meanwhile Horizons' first release, "Beyond the Horizon", the pulsating "Air Sand" finds its rightful place in the Matter canon as the laid-back rhythmic groove and effected vocal cuts of "So it Goes" maintains a fluid dancefloor character.

Pausing for a moment of serenity, "We Will Fade" reveals a kaleidoscopic array of layered textures that sit beneath a wave of free-flowing guitar sequences, before giving way to the chunky beats and rolling groove of "Lost in Seasons" that are juxtaposed against an evolving and multi-faceted sonic tapestry. "The Search" immediately impresses with it its heavily effected and side-chained phrasing, while a cavernous bassline paves the way for gloriously flowing and floating melodic sequences to reveal themselves in glorious depth at the stripped back breakdown.

The shifting cadenced groove of "Sundial" is the perfect vehicle for sun-kissed synths to wash over the 8-minute piece in blissful waves amidst imperceptible vocal hints. "Lucid Academy" continues Matter's penchant for opulent sonic textures woven in golden threads around a deep kick and offbeat hats; the resultant effect is a glorious sonic melange and diaphanous motifs. The closing track sees the beautifully arranged "Pacha Mama" take centre stage with its outstanding melodic sequencing and sympathetic bassline poise. Counterpoint melodies shine through and the result is a 24-carat reminder why Matter remains at the vanguard of the modern progressive house scene.

Looking upward into distant skies, "Starchild" is a reminder of the incandescent glow with which Matter lights up the dance music universe through a galaxy of musical innovation.

Heading straight for the fast lane is Josh Gigante with „Attention Seeker“. A hypnotic one-note bassline with ritualistic vocals takes you onto a night ride on the highway, until the overdrive kicks in and a sudden chainsaw-sounding lead is giving off sparks.

„Tanzwerk“ by Jepe takes you to a sinister sounding technocratic utopia, where suddenly all the sounds of machine processes align and form a dance floor symphony.

Next on the 21st Four To The Floor is „Folk“ by AIKON, an upbeat affair with slight hints of 80s, New Wave and Acid.

And closing off is „Music is the way“ by Spada feat. Klara Sestiniova, a dreamy end-of-night soundtrack that will definitely provide for a hands-up and eyes-closed moments.
