Founder and host, Ollie B, tells us about his project:

"Music and outdoor adventure have been huge passions of mine for so many years. My habitual activity is long distance trail running, and when training or deep in a multi-stage ultra marathon, the euphoric feeling which can come about when plugged into a mix and moving quickly through the trails is unbeatable. 

In Outdoor Tapes, I wanted to bottle that feeling in one place with guest contributors also sharing the music which really uplifts them when outdoors. Each mix is intentionally personal with no guidelines or criteria set as to selection or length. In doing so, the ambition is that over time the mixtape series becomes a broad church of influences, genres and selections for listeners to explore."
