We are an Indie Rock band based in the UK.

The Storm Trees perform as a four piece band and acoustic duo. Based in North Nottinghamshire/South Yorkshire, we're gigging regularly to promote our original music. Our first EP with an accompanying video was released in May 2015, the acoustic LP in April 2016. New tracks are being prepared for our next studio EP  for release in July 2021. Hi - we are Joihn and Clive live  a two friends having fun playing the music we love through the decades. The band are Clive on keyboards and John on vocals we are based in the Rotherham area of South Yorkshire and play local pubs, clubs and functions. After forming as a duo in late 2013 and hitting the music scene in the UK in early 2014, the newly expanded 4-piece Rock/Pop/Indie band "Ginger Tom" have been taking audiences by storm.

Their melodic, harmony-driven songs are strong and concise from the outset, and having been touring as a 4 piece for less than a year have already supported ‘The South’, ‘Go West’, and prog legends ‘Marillion’ at their 2015 convention.

Professional bass player, mixing engineer, producer and recording artist.  Available for studio or live session work, remote recording, longer term projects and collaborations, mixing and mastering services ideal for independent artists. 

Paul's love of the low frequencies started when he was 13. A classically trained double bass player he has performed in orchestras and swing bands throughout the UK and Europe before moving on to bass guitar and the joys of jazz, soul, funk and rock. Paul has honed his technique over many years to develop a unique and recognisably smooth sound, providing a valuable sonic foundation for artists as diverse as the late great Kevin Thorpe, Chico Arnez, Maxim Leonidov and Tipping Point. Paul is currently the bass player for UK blues legend Danny Bryant, and also plays for the Robin Bibi band.

As an accomplished session musician and producer Paul has also performed on and produced many recordings for independent artists, and has championed the music of unsigned bands and artists through his "Unsigned Heroes" radio shows.

Paul now runs a small studio engineering business and offers mixing and mastering services.
