Blix Tha Epic and Statik The Technician created Troubled Minds in 2004.  Originally a duo, Blix and Statik have worked with many emerging artists and producers over the years.  Their ambition was to create a collective of struggling artists who educate, collaborate, and inspire each other through art, which led to the creation of Fractured Poets Society (of which Troubled Minds is an extension).  Often describing themselves as broken people making music for other broken people, Troubled Minds was created to raise awareness of mental illness by giving it, and all of those who suffer in silence, a voice.
