@bushwackaofficial is a producer and DJ who really needs no introduction. He has been part of the fabric of the electronic music in the UK since the late 90's both in his own right and as one half of chart conquering duo Layo & Bushwacka!. whose track Love Story Vs Finally has become an evergreen staple since it's release in 2002. That track is only a tiny fraction of the Bushwacka story though.

One of his next gigs see's him land at Campo Sancho where he is playing on the Saturday night, 30th July. Ahead of the gig he put together this mix for us and I spoke to him at length about his musical upbringing and his extensive career along with what we can expect from his set at Campo Sancho and loads more.

@fsqofficial have a brand new remix album coming out this week via @soulclaprecs which see's some of the hottest producers on the planet including Ray Mang, Michael The Lion, Birdee, Tom Moulton, Dr Rubberfunk, Jitwam, DJ Rocca and Charlie Soul Clap reworking their ace 2020 album Reprise Tonight. It's very aptly titled Reprise, Reprise Tonight.

To celebrate the album we asked FSQ's band leader Chuck “Da Fonk” Fishman to deliver a worship mix to us. Having previously delivered a rather stunning rare P-Funk mix for us we were seriously looking forward to this one and he has delivered the goods yet again.

This time Chuck has chosen to the craft a mix around the work of legendary bass player Billy Bass Nelson including his tracks with such luminaries as Parliament, The Temptations and Smokey Robinson.

Two individuals - Dan Wender and Blacky II - came together one night in Brooklyn seven years ago and decided to do their own thing on small-but-sexy scale, and thus Rinsed was born.
