Our 10th Selects podcast marks another special one. For this version we have selected a glimpse of Alex Tomb’s extended performance from depths of the forest, recorded live at exquisite event “Mystagogia” by TRAP & Electronica.

What makes this journey even more exceptional is that it was his first set in front of a crowd in over a year and he made sure that every second was special. 

Alex is an experienced mixer with precise attention to detail, a very delicate touch and effervescent resonance. He directs the listener through deep explorative trips that play with the psyche. A musical dialogue filled with colours, changes of perspective and almost life-changing dispositions.

One of the main aims of SLR is to aid the emergance of Swedish DJs and producers. Vicky Zissou can definitiv classify herself in that genre, having experienced some highly productive years and is soon to be upcoming with a release on Street Life Rhythm.

Street Life Rhythm is a Swedish underground arts, culture and music collective created by fanatics for fanatics. Besides being behind some of the most happening clubs, raves and events in the Stockholm area, Street Life Rhythm is aiming to push, release and guide new emerging artists, DJs, and producers, as well as utilizing already established ones.

Welcome to the first guest mix for 2019 and we start the year off in fine style with a real beauty from Dutch based DJ and Producer George K aka Kyrro. 
I do like to be introduced to new artists and i love to listen to their interpretations , not really knowing what to expect.       As soon as I started listening to this set , I instantly fell in love with it – anyone who regularly checks this page will know the sound I am into and this mix is DEFINITELY me!
This one is full on purist deep and dub techno and is hopefully the first of many mixes to feature from Kyrro up on my page.

I hope that these ten sessions of therapy will have relieved some disorders and/or improve your mental health.

This last session is an ultimate shock treatment. 
We will meet again in a few weeks for a new series ... a little more "conceptual"... 

IMPORTANT to ensure the effectiveness of this last session :
1 - make sure you have one hour and six minutes
2 - prepare to listen to something pretty hypnotic, not really "easy listening" (but therapy need that ...)
3 - Turn up the volume
4 - let the session unfold
5 - once out of the hypnotic state, resume a normal life ...

The Therapy Final Chapter (Post Hypnotic Suggestion)

ANGEL is a French artist who began DJing and promoting events in London in  2012. The British capital is the starting point of her musical career. After living  7 years in London, she continued her journey exploring deeper minimal  sounds in Berlin and released her first track “Moons & Stars” (2016). Later she moved to Asia and while between Bali and Tokyo, ANGEL released a new experimental techno EP on Aethee Records (2017) and performed as a DJ in Jenja (Bali) and Vent (Tokyo). It was in Japan that she found the deep and  hypnotic techno she had been searching for. After some time back home in Paris, ANGEL released a new EP “Hellish Paradise” (2019) on Systolic Records She is working today on a new experimental techno EP as a solo project and  works alongside with OSE from Sine Language Records. Her work is influenced by artists and labels such as Attic Music, Affin,Hypnus Records, Ostgut Ton, and Systolic which are aligned with her love for the deeper sides of techno. ANGEL is also a music journalist writing for music magazines (BPM Supreme, DJTT) interviewing international artists and personalities of the DJ world.
