We have heard the words to every song that has been sung. They have been remixed, remastered, rewritten, and reviewed more than enough times to seize hold of our subconscious. They make us imagine that those played out words are the only ones that matter, the only stories that exist. But, words are history, they are lies thinly veiled in our ego, our perception and our external wants. Words are dead.
 
Evan Bartholomew – better known as Bluetech – is putting life back in music. His five track EP Cosmic Dubs holds fast to the idea that words can be misconstrued, but music can be passion, energy, and connectivity. The act of listening becomes meditation, and
a story breaks through the riffs and beats becoming a bridge to something more.

I began my musical journey by playing Piano at the young age of 5. I remember my first trip to the music store, and feeling the excitement and passion upon seeing all the different instruments. Since then, the pure magic of music is one of those things that has kept me inspired. The mystery of sound seems to create a space of healing, energy, flow, and connection->something that is beyond, glorious, and free.

As a sonic alchemist Mr. Berg-E's heart-lead mission is to craft playful and inspiring soundscapes that ignite the dance floor. He blends a myriad of genres, from House, D&B and bass music to disco, funk and organica in seamless fashion; curating emotional and evocative journeys that uplift and invigorate. Be ready to be moved.

His festival credits, so far, include Woodstove Music and Arts festival, Pachena Bay and the Belonging Festival.
