We are pleased to build a new bridge between Comodoro Rivadavia (ARG) and Madrid Sur (ESP).

Furatena are proud to reveal the outcome of a new collaboration between two of electro music's most remarkable spanish-speaking artists. Robert Cosmic and Saigg's "Superficial Information" is a unique and exciting hybrid of Electro and Techno sounds.

Opening track "Matdrid" enters a tunnel of lowpitched vocals, moving in a potent exercise of deftly manipulated acid lines. "Adglock" draws pulsating and noisy basslines across expansive, droning synth shots and 140bpm techno rhythms. "Ecaptcha" plunges deep into an electro sound splintered by binary bits and submerged vocal triggers that beckon a scheming melody.

On "Unglock" Roberto and Andrés lead with a thick bass, heavily shapeshifting tones and vocal hits with effects processing. The EP closes with "Translate", a hard-hitting electro track, steaming sonics and arpeggiated acidic bleeps, with a techno bassline diving in subterranean motions.

"Superficial Information" marks the full debut for both artists on Furatena.

Unknown Fate is a collaborative live project between German experimental techno artist OAKE and British producer and live performer Samuel Kerridge. 
Self-described as the ‘power metal techno’ duo, the project was born from an Atonal commission. On April 10th, UF are dropping ‘Unknown’,
their debut EP and four tracks of unadulterated sonic warfare.

"Forged through friendship, addiction, and debauchery, UF is the sum of our parts. It’s taken over a decade to formulate these ideas and the noise is palpable. Pack your end of world survival bags and prepare yourselves for the ensuing riot.” 

Samuel Kerridge and OAKE started creating music together when they shared a studio in Berlin, and have been making music together for a decade. This is the first time that they have released music, and it’s been a long time in the making. Initially just a live act, this year sees the duo releasing two EP’s in April and May with an album in the pipeline - they will also be embarking on a live tour. As stand alone artists they have a cult following and have been pushing boundaries with their live performances.

Reminiscing about the leadup to their Atonal debut OAKE speaks on the magic when creating music together, "There were no egos, there was just this pure energy of whatever goes goes, if someone doesn’t like something, we throw it out - just striving for a sound that would satisfy us both and not giving a single
fuck about what anyone else would think. It all felt so natural and easy. Unlike any other collaboration I had done before. We wanted to create something for that space in Kraftwerk, that huge power plant, that massive building with its huge walls and concrete columns: a sound that would fill that entire space and rip people's ears off. The most exciting part was that no one, not even our partners had heard any of the music we were going to play. Also Atonal did not have an idea what was coming for them. Playing that night, a show that was only 38 minutes long was pure ecstasy. We both were high on adrenaline and
became addicted to that feeling and knew, we wanted to make more of this.”

With his newest LP "Exxodus", Zurich’s Manuel Fischer returns to his home base Ozelot, presenting ten meticulously crafted tracks that refrain from ever only being one thing or the other. Sitting comfortably between genres like IDM, Dubstep, or Electro, Exxodus is a representation of Fischer’s current musical interests and a story of artistic progress. A story which, at its core, has always been about exploring new frontiers and finding new means of expression.

It only makes sense for Fischer to release "Exxodus" with Ozelot, the discipline-bending collective he co-founded in 2017: what started as a record label soon developed to become a creative studio working in a broad range of artistic disciplines. In line with this approach, the project presents itself in different ways, embracing all its transcendent potential: next to its physical manifestation as a transparent double vinyl, designed by Skala Design,Jahn Koutrios and Guillermo Lucena, it’s the foundation for Fischer’s new live AV show, for which Ozelot will conceptualize and create and execute the visuals. Coming to a town near you in Summer 2024. For the digital space, the studio imagined an experimental and playful way to access the music, using the album as malleable base material in an immersive website.

A familiar approach we’ve already seen for Ozelot’s latest release, the Skyline EP by Radiofear, and which is now established as an essential element of every new project, taking the convergence of the virtual and physical realm seriously.

"Exxodus" succeeds in being many things at once. Mainly, it’s a musically confident body of work and an adequate follow-up to Fischer’s first long player "Roadkill Grill in Novosibirsk" from 2019. Many of the elements he favors as a producer are in place: the Electro-informed groove on “Imperil”, a warped sample on “Rusty Chair” (is that a dog barking?), and shuffling granulated breaks everywhere you turn, like in “Rehbinder Effect” or “Parallel But Never Crossed”. Additionally, the scope of the project allows for it to be read as an act of collectivity, in which a group of creatives comes together to discover new artistic possibilities. Wrigen by Fischer, in his hometown Zurich and further South in Switzerland in the secluded Ticino region, he consequently extends an invitation to others to get involved. If this open-minded approach resonates, you are cordially invited to join the party.
