Shamanism is a system for psychic, emotional, and spiritual healing and for exploration, discovery, and knowledge gathering about non-material worlds and states of mind. Shamanism is a "technique of ecstasy" in which the spirit of the shaman leaves the body and travels to communicate with spirit helpers and other beings for the purpose of obtaining knowledge, power, or healing. 

Shamanic Astral Projection or Shamanic Journeying is an altered state of consciousness wherein you enter a realm called non-ordinary reality. By journeying you can gather knowledge and perform healing in ways that are not accessible in ordinary waking reality.

Native American Flute Music: Meditation Music for Shamanic Astral Projection, Healing Music

This song is in Quechua (the people’s language spoken mainly in the Andes region of South America). I first heard the language when learning about Shamanism from the Q’eros of Peru in 2012. This song uses words that the Shamans use when calling upon energies to open sacred spaces. They use animals to symbolise directions and chakras and call upon the snake (south), the jaguar (west), the hummingbird (north), the eagle (east), mother earth and father sky (masculine and feminine polarities). 
I wrote the melody staring at a fire one late night and then added the words later, inspired greatly by the wisdom of the ancient Inca knowledge.
In 2015 I had the great pleasure of travelling to Peru to work with the Shamans, record this video and learn more about the simple ways of this ancient science.

This song is tuned in 432Hz which therefore means that it is mathematically consistent with the universe. The ancient bells from Peru used in this track were already tuned to this frequency and so we therefore tuned all the other instruments to match the 432Hz tuning. Music that is tuned in 432Hz transmits healing energy because it is in exact mathematical frequency and vibration to the universe, as opposed to the 440Hz frequency tuning that is most commonly used today. Music therefore tuned in 432Hz frequency is known to be more relaxing, healing and softer for the human being. It is known therefore for it's healing qualities.

Esta canción es en quechua (la lengua que se habla en Perú, principalmente en la región andina de América del Sur). La escuché por primera vez cuando aprendía  chamanismo Q'eros en Perú en 2012. Esta canción usa palabras que los chamanes utilizan al convocar energías para abrir espacios sagrados. Ellos usan animales para simbolizar las direcciones, los chakras y el llamado a la serpiente (sur), el jaguar (oeste), el colibrí (norte), el águila (este), la madre tierra y el cielo padre (polaridades masculino y femenino).
Escribí la melodía mirando al fuego tarde en la noche y añadí la letra más tarde, muy inspirada en la antigua sabiduría inca.
En 2015 tuve el gran placer de viajar a Perú para trabajar con los chamanes, grabar este vídeo y aprender más acerca de las formas simples de esta antigua ciencia.


Esta canción está sintonizada a 432Hz. Esto significa que es matemáticamente consistente con el universo. Las antiguas campanas de Perú utilizadas en esta pista ya estaban sintonizadas a esta frecuencia, por lo cual sintonizamos todos los otros instrumentos para que coincidieran con la afinación en 432Hz. La música que se sintoniza a frecuencia transmite energía curativa, porque como vibra en una frecuencia matemática exacta, vibra con el universo, a diferencia de la sintonización en 440Hz, más comúnmente utilizada en la actualidad. Por lo tanto, la música  sintonizada en esta frequencia 432Hz parece ser más relajante, curativa y más suave para el ser humano; es conocida por sus cualidades sanadoras.

You may have heard the term “Jai Ma” at some point in your practice, either used in a mantra, or perhaps just “jai” alone more casually at the start of your day. It’s a lovely, simple mantra/phrase that calls to mind the creative forces in the universe. And more specifically, our acknowledgement and gratitude to them.

It calls to mind and heart the feminine forces, which not only give birth to new things, but can also effect change in the old ones.

“’Jai’ is the modern north Indian pronunciation of the Sanskrit word ‘Jaya’ which means ‘Hail or praise/respect to.’ It can also mean ‘Victory to the good’ or ‘Victory to god.’

'Ma’ is a word for ‘mother’ and in this context, refers to the universal Goddess. The all powerful, protective, creative divine mother....So, ‘jai ma’ could be translated as ‘great gratitude to the divine Mother. May her power be victorious over all obstacles.’” The phrase “Jai ma” is another way of saluting the Divine Feminine in our world and honouring the masculine in all of us as androgynous beings*

The maternal or female energy is one of the earliest objects of contemplation and worship. ‘Ma’ itself refers to the universal creative force that’s represented in the powerful feminine deity Shakti.

 The Divine Mother represents Shakti, or cosmic energy.

In essence it means "May the Divine rule in the form of the energy and love of the Mother, and may that energy bring us all good things"...

Shakti is the counterpart of Shiva, who represents the masculine, “destructive” force in the universe, and who ultimately makes room for the creation of new things. Shakti, on the other hand, is that creative (feminine) power that fills the void with new energy and matter, and is a key agent of change.

If you’re searching for a simple mantra that holds a lot of "significance", you might try “jai ma.” Repeating this mantra/ phrase either aloud or silently, while holding its meaning in your mind, may be an effective way to reboot your brain and get grounded. This attention-shifting is important whether you’re having a rough day, or whether you just want to express your gratitude to the universe, and to the power and importance of change.

Caspi Runa
This song was created out of gratitude for two great plant teachers: Chullachaqui caspi and Shihuahuaco under the all-seeing eye of Mother Ayahuasca.  In 2019, Marijn went on a diet with these two plant teachers.  Chullachaqui is the spirit of the shapeshifter. This spirit knows all the inhabitants of the rainforest and can teach you the language of the animals and the plants; a special teacher in curanderismo.  The 
Shihuahuaco is a protector of the body, gives strength and energy, so that the curandero can continue his/her special task and keep the focus on the light.
Language: This song is partly in Amazonian Quechua and Ashaninka.  Caspi is simply translated into ‘tree’ in Amazonian Quechua and branch in the Andean Quechua.  Runa has the meaning of 'strong' as well as 'spirit'.

Caspi Runa

This is a healing icaro for invocation of tribes, groups, peoples all over the world.  Usually with the intention to 
summon the spirits of the ancestors.  And this to learn from them, to feel their legacy.  We ask for their help by 
accompanying us with their wisdom.  "Tribus was for me (Marijn) the first song I composed on the N'Goni." (The N'Goni is a West African harp/guitar painted on the CD cover).  "For me (Juanita) this song was the starting point for a much greater work.  While singing along to the sounds of the N'Goni, a deep connection with Marijn was 
created, opening up a new world for me which started in 2014 as The White Arrow.  This song has been accompanying us for years during ceremonies.  It has become an icaro that calls for the letting go of the grief of the past and to stand here and now in your power.  We made a very musical 'heartbeat' version for the CD to emphasize the atmosphere.  A giant canoe takes you across the waves of the past all the way back and forth.  We learned this song for our Maestra Ema’a, but the song is registered to Herbert Quinteros (owner of the song).

Tribus

The White Arrow began as the union of two souls, Marijn De Wit and Juanita Pyl. Their last names merged to create a beautiful new spirit aimed at touching hearts and illuminating paths. They chose to walk this journey together, embodying the balance of feminine and masculine energies. Their music, rooted in their shamanic heritage, is inspired by the whispers of plant spirits, giving life to a project that blends acoustic medicine songs with atmospheric, inner journey sounds.  Their heart-opening music serves as a bridge to the inner world and creativity, offering a connection to higher dimensions of consciousness. Marijn and Juanita are sound healers, curanderos/as, and intuitive musicians who specialize in South American shamanism. Through their workshops, formations, ceremonies, and concerts, they have developed a unique approach to guiding people into a space of self-liberation.
They have pilgrimaged to many sacred sites around the world, learning and studying from indigenous wisdom keepers. They weave ancient threads into a unique tapestry of song, invocation, and ceremony. Their voices sing of an ancient love, beyond conditioning, focusing on light and living from the heart.  Marijn and Juanita have been walking this sacred path together since 2013.  All their music is created in a shamanic ceremonial context. During their concerts, they bring the world of plant medicines to life through intuitive music, medicine songs, and traditional icaro chants, channeling the spirits of the rainforest to guide them.  For ceremonial concerts, cacao ceremonies, and festivals, they collaborate with Johannes Siemann, a highly talented multi-instrumentalist.
Most of their albums are recorded in their home studio, where they experiment with sounds, instruments, and enchanting atmospheric compositions, offering a unique approach to 'medicine music.' Their songs have reached listeners worldwide, often used in shamanic ceremonies, with Brazil being their largest audience. "Cielo medicina" is one of their first and most popular creations.
