Istanbul based record label & event series. Established in 2015 Beyoglu, Istanbul. Started with episode style, conceptual event series at minimüzikhol for two years, pushed out of the city limits to Atatürk Oto Sanayi (Motor City of Istanbul) in pursuit of a free (of capital, commercial) environment, process and experience as a result. These series were called MCG (Motor City Gathering). TSWG series grew to Amsterdam and hosted bimonthly Spring/Summer series at Canvas in 2018.

Members and affiliates producing music before its existence, theysleepwegrind event series evolved into TSWG Records and released the first EP in 2019. Label's purpose is to publish local musicians' productions and be flagship to underdog producers all around the world. We believe arts and crafts should not be under the monopoly of certain groups in society and should be open to every way producer wants to experience and craft to reach the end product. So we welcome all styles and sounds BUT have no time for bullshit, unrealistic producer expectations, wanna be star vibes here. We love the culture and like to make individual voices accessible under a selected catalogue and curate the publishing, run distribution processes and support the artist in different areas possible. Our approach inspires from many ''non-musician''s work, not institutionalized music makers' productions and people put the effort to press and publish them - made them accessible. These recordings inspire us, spark emotions and thoughts wouldn't be available to us without them. We appreciate that some found them worthy of sharing that gave us the chance to listen and enjoy. Music can have all the complexity in the end result or simplicity in making, regardless of the ways, methods - every process that is sincerely reflecting one's experience is worth publishing.
