SONKO is a London born, Berlin based DJ. Music engulfed their formative years and the sounds of Reggae and Dub, in particular, were important parts of their upbringing and paved the way for their love of DnB and Jungle. However, there are no genres off limits to this selector, instead SONKO chooses to embrace anything that speaks to the soul. 

SONKO’s long held passion for vinyl took a new turn after attending an intro to vinyl DJ workshop led by @blvsh_collective a couple of years ago. Here SONKO tried her hand at DJing for the first time and was immediately obsessed with using records in this way.

SONKO co-hosts a regular show on @thfradio which explores music through the lens of emotion, and in a show on @refugeworldwide they focus on all things DnB and Jungle.

For this all vinyl mix, SONKO takes us on a journey through the rich and varied realm of house music. Expect groovy basslines and high energy.
