Now in the third incarnation, The Virtus In Sonus compilation returns with its most prominent lineup yet. France's ever talented CloZee submits the fluidic opening, "On The Riverbank", with heavy focus on her luscious guitar work. Newcomers Space Jesus &amp; Esseks bring the infectious "Ever Win" to the table in front of their upcoming Gravitas album, due shortly. Wonky hip hop vibes continue on Of The Trees' "Bad Acid", a well titled tribute to Roland 303's iconic "acid" sound. The OriGinALz help pick up the pace with "1Up", a rolling number reminiscent of west coast g-funk. "Deep Trench", the moody IDM prologue from Aligning Minds, gives a sense of finalization, wrapping the series up on an introspective note.

Why aren't there more Women Producer/DJs you ask? Silly question, there are TONS of us - you just need to look, listen, pay attention, and allow space for the feminine to do what she is meant to do. Create, dance, muse, BECOME.

To celebrate the holidays and the beginning of our Amplify Her Purple Carpet tour I've crafted a story woven together with songs written/produced/co-produced/remixed by female identified/bodied peoples. Featuring songs from the main characters of the film as well as many other talented ladies. I hope you guys like it, I put a lot of heart soul and mother fucking pussy into this piece. 

What is Amplify Her? Oh just a little movement we started 5 years ago - A full length Documentary film, a Graphic Novel, an animation and a god damn revolution. Amplify Her is a film, graphic novel and animated motion comic series that explores the rise of female artists in the electronic music scene.

Imagined and brought to life by more than 21 female creators The Film follows AppleCat, Clozee, Blondtron, Lux Moderna, WALA, A hundred drums, and Kytami as they find their unique voices within a male-dominated electronic music realm.

On the surface, it’s a story about women in the electronic music industry, but the film’s deeper message is the resurgence of “the feminine” in Western culture.
