The summer of 2000, yes...we will date it there. Although years of freestyling in smoky back seats and a lifelong addiction to hip-hop culture truly paved the way for the Mind Movers crew, Co-founded by Phreewil, Mic Flont, and Dead Noise (at the time ses/spare tire), this crew of dynamic emcees, known for their electric  stage performance and eclectic yet, classic boombap style --helped progress the Seattle Hip-Hop music scene's growth and preservation  as a staple in its community. Exhibiting a 10-man roster at one time (emcees: Khanfidenz, Open Hands, Mic Flont, Inkubiz, Amon Mumbles, Tease One, Phreewil, Spare Tire, and Showbot -- also on the tables) with Phreewil and Dead Noise on production, the crew released multiple projects and rocked hundreds of shows in its 8 years of active solidarity. All members continue to make music and art in many forms and mediums, and the friendships remain intact to this day. 
As a beat maker and emcee, Phreewil has opened for national acts, entered and won a variety of beat and emcee battles, and has become a member in multiple crews and affiliated with a multitude of talented artists. He is an active member in his local hip-hop community, conducting workshops, demonstrations, fundraisers, and organizing hip-hop orientated events for youth and family -- (now Hilo on the big island of Hawaii) and is a member of The Universal Zulu Nation, the first family of hip-hop (206 and ZuluNation Hawaii respectively). Currently, he is set to release multiple projects both as an emcee, and stricktly as a producer.
