Chronicles 171 LIVE Part 2 (April 2020)

Just a place to upload some mixes for sharing with friends & listening to in the car.

I grew up listening to and mixing Trance music in the early 2000’s but nowadays my mixes have a Deep Organic House & Progressive feel. Having wanted to blow the dust off my old Trance collection I decided to mix my entire library for the memories. I decided on only using one mix of each track to stop it getting out of hand, and mixed it in Ableton Live for the obvious logistical reasons but it still came in at a whopping 52 hours’ish. 
I spent a good deal of time on the warping as there was plenty of irregularities, particularly with some of the older tracks, and I religiously stuck to 320Kbps throughout, although I’m not sure how that translates to SoundCloud when it comes to streaming.
Putting this mix together has been a joy, a real trip ‘down memory lane’ excuse the cliché. I made some awesome memories to this music, in clubs (Passion in particular), house parties, raves and sometimes just sitting on the sofa with my Brother. Trance really was a full soundtrack to my life. 
I decided to upload it as I think it will resonate with a lot of people in the Trance community.
