It was an infatuation with electronic music from a young age that sparked the beginning of Nick Berry’s DJ career in the Sydney scene back in 2014. Since then, Berry has made a name for himself through his acute deviation from what is popular, playing uniquely melodic music punctuated by an eclectic mix of deep house and techno - influenced by the 90’s rave era. Fast forward to present day and Berry has shared lineups with DJ Koze, Jimi Jules, Trikk, The Drifter, Oliver Koletzki, Andhim and Gerd Janson to name a few. During the stagnant year of 2020, he maintained his divergence from the conventional when he founded The Anomaly Radio Show alongside Harry Hooper and Milly Lees. The brand is a cultivation of deep electronic music paired with finely curated graphic design to help listeners navigate through the beautiful obscurities of electronic melodies. Anomaly has released 18 radio shows from 18 fiercely talented international artists; Budakid, Invōker, David Mayer, Armonica, Murat Uncuoglu, Phunkadelica, Kris Davis, Aaaron, Stereo MC's, Super Flu and others. The mixes showcase the respective style of each DJ, while contributing to the surreality that is Anomaly. The music is complemented by the dynamic visuals of Leipzig talent - Panthera Krause. If you are new to Berrys sound, watch this space. He promises that there is a lot more to come!

With Summer slowly reaching its end, I've decided to share my set from AIM, which was one (amongst many) of my highlights of the year. The beautiful crowd, the gorgeous sunny day without a cloud in sight, the gentle breeze by the water; it was a perfect experience. I felt so much joy and positivity that was radiating from the dancers in front of me. I was having a total blast and I'm sure that whoever was there could tell ;)
