Every month, THISBE Recordings host an artist or a band to share with you awesome music for an hour.

For our September 2023 podcast, we host @acidwashed, a name we don´t need to introduce to you anymore. 

Indeed, the project of @andrewclaristige has been very present at THISBE, with tracks such as « Brandtaucher » co-composed with Arnaud Rebotini, on our very first compilation « Black Ink »  released in April 2022 and a stunning remix of Rambal Cochet « Oseary Drakoulias », released in December 2021. 

Furthermore, expect some new tracks & remixes by @andrewclaristidge, to be released via THISBE as soon as later this month, as he remixed @pyrame´s upcoming track « Senses High » (out on 22/09/23) and in December as a remixer for the upcoming release of @sebelzin, « Lingua Minimalista ». 

Now on for one hour of music, featuring tracks from Bandaluli, Panthera, Plastique de Rêve, Memex, Justine Forever, Nightwave and more.

As one of the finest dj’s and producers in our genre, she has released music on labels such as Correspondant, Roam Recordings and Hard Fist. Traxion has had a massive few years developing his sound, brand and reason behind his art.

Melbourne, Australia based DJ, producer and master in a range of genres including indie-dance, post-punk, nu disco, italo and has gravitated towards his unique expression of sound and performance from around the age of 15 years old. Traxion has sold out his headliner show in Melbourne, played at the world renowned Burning Man 2022 & has just come off his tour in Mexico in 2022. Traxion has also made huge some huge appearances at some of Australia’s hottest shows including Pitch Music & Arts festival main stage, Let Them Eat Cake and supported huge international names like Jennifer Cardini, Curses, Job Jobse, Maceo Plex, Keinemusik, HAAi, Midland & many more.

Successful, heaving shows and international bookings aren’t the only big waves Traxion is making. He also spends his time on his three-part charity based brand 'XPRESS' that is a record label, in which well-known and talented artists from around the world distribute cutting-edge edits of tracks where every sale funds a monthly rotating list of notable and deserving charities. Partnered with this Traxion runs ‘XPRESS-IONS’, a weekly radio show on Kiss Fm discussing all things music, worthy causes and upcoming shows to the airwaves and with an elite line-up of interviewed guests & finally, 'XPRESS' which is charity based events & parties based in Melbourne.

There is beauty in rottenness. The decay of withered flowers shows us the intimate closeness between caducity, death, and beauty. The atmospheres generated by toxic plants, with the poisons we inhale, are environments of fantasy, hypnotic, where we release our most intimate desires. In a fantasy anything can happen, even what we long for the most.
The flowers of evil are the flowers of death, but they are also the rotten, imperfect, hard flowers that embody a fecund and beautiful force. It is in the tension between darkness and beauty, in the darkest moments of life, that the most beautiful can bloom. From the Baudelairean-decadentist motif of Las Flores Del Mal to the darker calm of a Lullaby, which does not want to let us sleep, this EP is tense between death and resurrection. Between evil and what could blossom from it.
