Help me ascend out of the 7th Circle of hell that I have fallen into. I have lost my career as a firefighter after 18yrs due to a job-related injury, which has left me disabled. However, being a Dj and playing in front of a crowd is helping me to ascend out of the darkness. Additionally, I love playing in front of a crowd as nothing makes me feel more alive than watching the crowd go nuts for the music that love. Got back into Roller Skating a little ways back and was absolutely amazed walking into my first major Shuffle Event to hear all the music I know, Love, and Spin being played to Skate to!  It has ignited a Fire back into 2 of my dearest passions. Shuffle Style Skating and Music Production. Code Rising is an American Electro duo that was formed in 2010 and consists of Matt Lancaster (South Carolina) and Ryan Phillips (South Florida). Over the years, Code Rising has shared the stage and worked with some of the biggest names in the Electro music scene; performing live mainly in Miami and the surrounding Florida coasts.

After a healthy line of digital releases on Monotone Records from 2010-2013, the duo saw the release of their first full-length CD "Dissemination Protocol" on their own label, Propulsion Recordings. 2021 saw the largest release from the duo yet; "A Spectral Odyssey" was released digitally via BandCamp with a whopping 18 track playlist. It all started in the early 90’s when my friends and I would go to the underground night clubs in and around Orlando, Florida. For years I listened the music not knowing much about it except that it expanded my mind, my body, and my soul. I loved it, and after a few years of being in the scene I had a friend who started DJing. I would watch him play these dope ass records at the after parties we would got to and come to find out those records were Breakbeats. It was over for me at that point.

Growing up in the 80’s & 90’s listening to Miami Bass I loved the breakbeat sound. DJing was cool and I was interested in learning how to play. In 1997 I asked my friend to start showing me how to mix two records together to keep the music flowing non-stop. I wasn’t very good to say the least at first but it didn’t take me long to get the hang of it once I bought my first set of Technique 1200’s. I’d get home from work everyday and play records until I had to go to sleep. I was hooked and in no time I was being asked to play at the parties or after parties around town as well. That’s when I came up with the name DJ Tripnotic.

Four years later in 2001 with the help of my Father I opened up my own record shop called Tripnotic Records & Sound’s in South Orlando. I made a lot of good friends and met a bunch of cool people during the four years the shop was open. I even got into producing my own music and released my first track “Electro” in 2004. However, in those four years there were some struggles Sadly, in 2005 I decided to close it down.

So here we are and life has gone on, but I have never stop doing what I love… playing records and making music!

DJ'ing various skating rinks throughout Florida. (Skate Reflections, United Skates Tampa, Skate World of Lakeland, SpinNations,  just to name a few, And now the resident For the World-Famous BASS LOUNGE. The only virtual night club on TikTok. ( dj_jamz ) I have played Several nightclubs throughout Orlando. Also played at Club V on the Victory Casino Cruise, in which I had the pleasure of opening for the Legendary DJ Magic Mike. I have DJ 'ed several house party's and functions. Playing mostly Miami Bass, Freestyle, Electro, and Breaks. Half owner and Artist of Audiotronic records. Keep an eye out for more to come.

Tears of Technology is an electronic musician / producer who is inspired by such artists as Ford, Infiniti, Kyper, Robert Miles & Tony Faline to just name a few. His style is a mixture of Breakbeat & Trance. The Tears has over a decade of experience in what is known as "vocal breaks" or Neo Freestyle as some refer to it. He also produces other breakbeat styled genres such as eHop (Electro Hop) & Electro. 

The man behind Tears of Technology produces trance music under the artist persona New Orleans' Dan the Man. Dan hails from the city that care forgot long ago, New Orleans, La. Growing up in a culture rich environment that heavily urban is what attributed to the unique sound of Tears of Technology. When you grow up in a city like New Orleans, things like music are the only outlets you have.

Tears of Technology first gained recognition for his independent release of the album "The Soul Never Forgets". Since this release he has appeared on several labels as a remixer such as Jive / Zomba, Island, XYZ, & Live Wire. He has co-wrote songs for London Exchange, a popular 80's freestyle band. He produced an entire maxi single for Casa Records entitled "Lady" by Jim Davis Jr. He has also appeared as executive producer on several releases from his own label 504 Productions.

The Tears's compositions are emotional based tunes that come directly from his heart & soul from the top of his head. Tears of Technology's songs like "Get the Funk", "Empathy" & "Killing in My Name" really get to the root of who he is as an EDM artist. His message is one that is inspired by great artists & intellectuals such as John Lennon, Bill Hicks & George Carlin. A true artist that is more about expression than competition.
