One of 2 left from the original Kaluki DJ's and now one of the long standing residents, Zandér brings a unique musical sound to the 1210's, CDJ's, laptop or all three, what ever there is to play on.... 

The hard work and loyalty is starting to show big rewards after recently being booked for Afterlife (The Warehouse Projects official after party), again for the fourth consecutive year for one of the opening parties at Space Ibiza, for Kaluki, with Richy Ahmed, Heidi and Max Chapman, and having recently warmed up for Jamie Trench at the mighty Warehouse Project, again for Kaluki, at the sell out CIrcoloco gig in Manchester; Zandér is looking forward to another incredible summer.

"It feels so incredible, having had the absolute pleasure of playing some of the biggest showcases, at some of the UK and Ibiza's most synonymous music venues, alongside many of cutting edge underground names and new raw talent on the scene. I feel privileged to have had these opportunities and to still be big a part of one of the fastest rising music labels on the scene".

Now, between gigs it seems a new wave of creative vibes have taken over and as the patient 4 years of self taught musical engineering and production really seems to be coming together, we now look forward to a long list of epic, raw tracks, varied in styles to hit this soundcloud page very soon....

"My experiences playing at amazing huge venues and at other smaller influential nights in the north west, such as Sankeys, where I have been lucky enough to have played every room in the club over the past 7 years. Velcro Teddy Bears are vocalist Sam 'Chaddy' Chadwick, lead guitar Mike 'Griff' Griffin, his brother Josh G on Bass, Mikey Holland on Drums and joining on Keyboards in August 2018 Mr Jack Graham. 

Velcro Teddy Bears are currently laying the pre-production groundwork for their first album to be recorded and released soon.

History
Velcro Teddy Bears started off as an acoustic duo back in the late 2000's and have grown as band and a sound throughout the last ten years or so.

The Velcro Teddy Bears won the accolade of ‘Yorkshire Unplugged’ in 2012 having grown into a 4 piece with their unique skiffle/folk rock sound. Check out 'Lady off London Road' and 'Life on Gas' . The release of their debut EP ‘Coming Back For More’ in 2013 showcased the bands rural and country roots, however the addition of drums and electric guitars, on tracks such as ‘Summer Breeze’ and the title track 'Coming Back for More', has allowed them to explore the dimensions of their searing sound.

Crowned ‘Oxjam Battle of the Bands’ winners for 2014, the four-piece feel quite at home on stage having fully embraced the electric lineup swapping acoustics for Les Pauls and cajons for Pearl Exports, 

The band expanded again in August 2018 with the addition of Jack Graham on keys and rhythm things giving a new scope and again an exploration into a new sound, evident on the latest tracks 'Stranger to Hope' and 'Petrol on the Door'

Long-time friends with a gigging history that stands as a testament to their hardworking ethos, The Velcro Teddy Bears’ nature translates in their songs and at their shows which are electric and foot stomping throughout.
