As founder of the Jong School, he is a sailor, a chef ,diver, photographer, and painter, driven by a profound need for artistic expression that dances with the ocean and stars. A father to Moana and Charlie, he strives to pass on the love of synergy between art, science, and exploration of the body and mind. Standing on the shoulders of many great individuals, Michel seeks to forge a unique legacy through his multifaceted trades and renewed musical journey, reconnecting with the digital world while honoring tradition and the natural environment. His life is a testament to curiosity, creativity, and deep environmental consciousness cultivated through ethnographic understanding of human and more-than-human worlds.

Fitting iNCH into a caricature of her namesake would be a misnomer. Always surprising people with her breadth of musicianship and depth of personality, iNCH is never afraid to venture into the discomforting umbra of artistry to push her own limits and challenge popular perceptions. One can imagine her as a musical nomad with the spirit animal of a mouse deer — endangered, private and mysterious, yet when revealed is honest and vulnerable — a contradiction of meekness and artfulness. Such unpredictability makes this pint-sized Singaporean singer-songwriter all the more an exciting paradox to embark on a musical adventure with.

The latest body of work from Linying, House Mouse is the sound of an artist rediscovering the joy of creating with total abandon. In an evolution of her acclaimed debut album There Could Be Wreckage Here—a 2022 release made with musicians like former Death Cab for Cutie guitarist Chris Walla—the Singapore-born singer/songwriter follows her intuition toward a kaleidoscopic form of dream-pop elevated by her enchanting voice (an element she’s previously brought to her breakout single “Sticky Leaves” and to a series of massively successful collaborations in the electronic world). Both effervescent and emotionally intimate, the result is proof of the wild magic that comes from letting go and leaning into your most unfettered impulses.
