Funeral of a Choir Boy

A breakup song, which, through vivid snapshots, captures what it means to fall out of love and come to terms with losing 'your person'. LIAS dives deep and takes you with him into the relatable void of heartbreak. Searching for answers while the foundations of the familiar crumble, leading to inevitable realisations: when the going gets rough, the only thing left to do is run boy run.

With the release of this single, LIAS invites you on a very personal journey of what it means to evolve – through spirals of depression, disorientation, fractured relationships – towards a stronger, more resilient, more assured self. Run Boy Run is the first single of an EP that will be released, song by song, over the coming months, inviting us to get lost and revel in the emotional tides of his personal story.

‘Let Me Down Easy’  deals with the struggle of regaining power over a mentally and emotionally abusive relationship.

The EP is the musical result of LIAS personal journey: circling around life as a musician, breaking out of predefined paths and embracing the unknown of living life as an independent artist. It captures the feelings of hope and positivity just as well as honest despair.
